A bit more of a hike than we intended, but nice anyway. Starts off fairly flat, but steepens -- though not severely -- as you follow the Weight Brook up towards its source. Well worth the effort.
We loved this spot. It was secluded, not busy at all. It was a short hike, absolutely gorgeous. Look for yellow squares on the trees to guide you
This was an amazing place to visit! There is a recommended donation to the preserve and there can be limited parking, but the short .4-.6 mi, easy uphill hike was WELL worth it. We've had a great deal of rain this summer which created several places where you can slide down the rock and see beautiful waterfalls. The rock is not completely smooth and it will hurt your bum. I used my son's life jacket to sit on and it was really fun!
Amazing views and not that bad of a hike to the top of the falls. Just over a half mile to the falls views and swimming area from the parking lot. A must visit for anyone looking to take pictures or cool off in the water.
Absolutely gorgeous! The hike up to the falls is fairly easy if you are looking for something everyone could climb. The views are magical if you get a clear day. Highly recommend!
It was a fairly short hike, and not too difficult until the end perhaps. If you get too hot, simply cool off in one of the many pools among the cascading falls. On my trip out, I saw kids (and adults) sliding down the falls like a water slide! I am in no way recommending it, but it looked like a lot of fun! All in all, if I were in the area, or had a few attractions planned; I would definitely stop again! I would choose to go early morning or mid week as to avoid the crowd. The parking lot did seem to fill up fairly quick.
Fantastic experience! The hike to the top was shady and fair to navigate. Once at the very top, view was stunning. You could climb the rocks and swim in the small water pools and "slides".
Trails were well maintained, LOADS of people showed up, best to go early morning we arrived at 1130 with one other car, by the time we hit the top and got our lunch out a lot of people showed up. Lots of people with dogs. Good places to stop and swim, lots of natural slides and great views. Hike is moderately difficult if you dont hike often or are impaired. Lots of dangerous spots if you're not careful. Rocks are slippery regardless of if wet or not so please make sure you wear appropriate shoes with good grip. Fence with permission by access only is there to help re-naturalize the falls- do wish they'd put it up on the rocks above one of the only deep pools but it is what it is. Nice little bench halfway up to take a rest at. Porta-potty at beginning of the trail and decent amount of parking - they have handicap parking as well.

Absolutely amazing place to visit any time of the year. Plenty to explore and Screw Auger Falls is such a beautiful display of the raw powers Mother Nature and Father Time possess
Amazing resort at a very reasonable price. The had a huge variety of trails and multiple lodges. Would highly recommend whether it's your 1st time or your 100th.
Went to a beer pairing dinner on Saturday night at the top lodge. Absolutley delicious. Took the Gondola up, a big storm started, big hail dropped so we were shuttled down the mountain in a shuttle bus, what a bumpy ride, the people in the shuttle st
