Steeplechase is a beautiful venue! We were here for our wedding this fall and the colors and scenery were gorgeous. The team is very easy to work with and very flexible, quick to flip the ceremony room afterward for the dance floor. The staff is very kind, easily gotten ahold of, and responsive to messages. The only drawback we experienced was using the venue for rehearsal dinner on Friday evening - the floor was very dirty and there were lots of bugs on the floor, so it was not ready or clean for the rehearsal dinner. However, I emailed the staff and they were very responsive to come and vacuum up the bugs so the floor was a little cleaner. I would recommend asking if they would mop the floor as well so you don't get tablecloths or long dresses stained on the bottom from the dirt on the floor. Overall, great experience with this venue! 4/5 stars

We came here for xcski team practice (due to no snow elsewhere). The Steeplechase manager was very accommodating and worked with us for suitable runs for xcskis. They are open for not only skiing and snowboarding, but for tubing. I hadn't been there for ~20 years; it's nice to see them open again. My only suggestion would be to put a few signs near by, on the county roads to eliminate route confusion for 1st timers.

Beautiful venue, comfortable and intimate setting for a wedding!

We had our wedding here in early June of 2022. Justin and his crew were great. He was quick to answer all of our questions. It is a beautiful venue set in an amazing backdrop of hills and greenery. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steeplechase Events for your big event!

Scenic place to hold a wedding, or other event, by old ski hills?? It’s down a dirt road, but it was easy to find using smart maps. The outside was gorgeous and a wonderful place to celebrate. The inside was nice too, old church and has several rooms connected. The only criticism would be the path from inside to the back where the event was, is ill defined and not the smoothest, also there isn’t really a back door. But it was still a wonderful time, no doubt.

A lot of fun good for family experience .safe well run .with great tubes to use and tow rope.1 big run a couple runs for race and 2 runs with bank turns .all runs have by a snow wall divider.

Steeplechase was an amazing location and magical venue for a winter wedding. Our daughter was married on the coldest day of 2016 (-26 degrees) and yet the event was hosted very well by Justin and Anna. Steeplechase is an event center that will undoubtedly become very difficult to book due to demand. Check it out and reserve your date early!

We are absolutely glad that we chose this for our wedding venue! We had an outdoor ceremony that overlooked the bluffs then the reception inside with about 120 guests. All of our guests fit into one room for the reception, and the chapel area was a big enough space to suit all of our dancing needs with the DJ on the stage area. The family that owns it was very friendly and quick to respond. They helped set everything up the day before, so we can do a bit of decorating, and then took things down at the end. All of our guests complimented us on the beautiful location. They also had linens that we could use, which was very beneficial! We had our guests stay in Rochester and the drive there was quick. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking in the Southern MN area!
