Rooms stink like cigarettes, dogs chained up outside of rooms, blood stains on the sheets and blankets, people in the office were rude, there’s people living in the rooms, drunk guys sleeping at the picnic benches with beer can all around them. All around terrible place. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Horrible staff always reeks of marajuana bunch of drug traffic and room smelled of mold and ever electrical outlet almost electricuted me and my brother. Wouldn't recommend this fire trap for anyone to stay in plus room was filled with ants and other bugs. Don't stay here would even give us our deposit back and argued with us about it.
Booked a room at 11am as my dad was admitted into icu at a nearby hospital. Within 2 hours, cancelled reservation as his condition worsened and we stayed with him in hospital as he lie dying. Refused any refund as its policy. No compassion. Would never give them any business.
Good prices. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful and nice. Good place to stay in erie that isn't expensive.
Worst place to sleep. Not safe. Some a...oles had a party didn't sleep well night. It's nightmare. Administration leave at 10pm and you have to call emergency to solve issues. Not recommended.
Lots of dog barking and crying at night. That didn't bother me. Love dogs. Get a room closer to the office if this would bother you. Nice place.
The nicest motel ive ever experienced and I recommended erie lodging for giving me their number and setting me up with a room..greatest people ice had in all my years..thank you both motels and cost conserving..
My son and I went on a overnight fishing trip to Lake Erie . He booked the room at the steelhead through a booking service . When we arrived at the hotel they said the room had been canceled, that someone had called. Had booked a room with two double beds. Was told that booking over booked them and only room available had a king bed which was fine with us. The bed was comfortable. The towels were clean . And the shower was very acceptable . Had trouble opening the shampoo packets that were supplied . The hotel is older the walls between rooms are thin I heard the guy in the next rooms whole life history and he played music till after midnight and talked loud! The bathroom is very small knees are against the wall while sitting on the toilet. In a city along the Lake Erie there should have been more parking with easy access for trailered boats.
Great place, friendly owner. Unfortunately, the restaurant has closed, but there is a lovely breakfast diner within walking distance. Quiet location with little traffic or noise at night. Clean rooms.
