Love love love this hotel!
The rooms are so well decorated and appointed!
- Comfortable individual duvets instead of just one,
- plush towels and bathrobes,
- in room Keurig coffee w pineapple mugs :)
- warm welcome at guest services with complimentary drinks,
- beautiful decor in lobby and restaurant,
- gorgeous neighborhood (see pic as we walked to restaurant),
- parked right out front!
Honestly, this place gives great value for the cost. We will definitely book here again!
Come to think of it this is the only chain hotel I’ve ever loved!
We booked last minute and were lucky to find this cute boutique hotel near Back Bay area, walkable to Prudential mall, conveniently located 5min from subway station. The room is very small like most hotels in Boston, but very well decorated and beds/beddings are comfortable. We were on the top floor and had a very nice view. The windows are however thin and not well isolated so you can hear street noises very well. Luckily it wasn't very noisy when we stayed there. The best is we were able to find free street parking nearby which saved us a lot. There are not many shops nor restaurants very close to it but the hotel has bikes which you can borrow, and it also has a small resto bar and it's pretty busy. We'd be happy to stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay over the weekend. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. We booked through Airbnb - they had a ~$20/day amenities fee after that. The rooms have water and coffee pods with a Keurig machine. They always gave us more bottles when we ran out and asked for some. They also provided complementary drinks (1/person) when we got there, redeemable at their trophy room bar in the lobby.
The bar was very lively and always busy. Great atmosphere.
The rooms were very clean and neat. The walls are very thin though so you can hear everything on your floor.
It's the "Delightful" hotel with the funny name --- but nothing funny about their service! This was a new hotel brand for me and I was skeptical before our arrival --- "it'll be too boutique-y" and "what's up with the dog on the bed?" BUT --- once I arrived, I was sold! Excellent, friendly and efficient service from Leidy at the Desk and Seth at the bar. The rooms are small, the bathroom tiny but clean, quiet and efficiently organized. All the amenities were there. We were very comfortable and the location is perfect. Just three blocks from the Back Bay Orange Line station. You can't beat it and I highly recommend!
The hotel is excellent. I arrived early in the morning, the check in time is 4:00 pm . Fortunately, she had an empty room and allowed me to check in at 8:30 a.m. Everything is good except the followings:
(A) The flushing toilet is very noisy.
(B) The water from shower head is not strong enough.
I hope she can improve these.
If you can find a hotel for the same price in back bay just stay there. The hotel is very small but relatively clean. There is no closet, fridge, or microwave which makes staying here inconvenient. We had to ask the front desk to microwave our food for us in the staff room. The biggest issue was the leaking window in our room. There were cracks along the molding of the window that dripped water all night long, keeping us up. It started getting all over the counter and floor as well as the plugged in coffee maker right next to the window. When I called the front desk for assistance, the worker was rude and impatient. He said there was nothing to do but wait because his system was down and maintenance can only come in the morning. The next morning we checked out and let the front desk know again about the leaking window. His words were "I have it written down but you honestly have one of the better rooms." For over $700 for 5 nights I am very disappointed with this hotel. They need to change the price or upgrade their rooms and customer service.
Wife and I spent 6 nights at this hotel and we would definitely come back again, as well as recommend to others. Location is delightful, in a quiet but convenient area to travel about. Staff are amazing, from the welcome at check-in, to Seth and Jonny on the bar who provide much entertainment and really look after you. Food is great, room very comfy and spotlessly clean. Thank you for an awesome stay and introduction to Boston. See you again soon x
I truly enjoyed my recent stay at Staypineapple Boston. The location is ideal, walking to Copley Square and the South End. The Back Bay T station is very close, as is the Silver Line. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable, and the room was well-appointed. The staff was very helpful, including getting me into my room a few minutes early. The only thing that surprised me was the extra amenities fee, which was unexpected. But, I have heard that they are not the only hotel doing the same.
