Staybridge Suites Wilmington - Brandywine Valley, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Glen Mills - 400 Evergreen Dr, USA

I had to get a last-minute hotel room, and I could not be happier with my experience at the Staybridge Suites. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the size of the room was perfect. I loved having the convenience of the kitchenette. Every employee was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying there again soon.

Great hotel super convenient location. You have Costco down the block. And a three minute drive to a shopping center with a supermarket marshalls etc. Hotel is clean well maintained. Room was very good. Also great shower products! They have full size pumps which is way better than the little sample containers some hotels give. The breakfast had a nice selection. There’s a nice outdoor pool however make sure you go on a very hot day otherwise the water is freezing. Also nice comfy area to sit outside by bonfire I recommend staying at this hotel. There’s also some attractions within the area.

It came down to this hotel and I Hilton property when picking a place to stay for an event in Aston Pa. Choose Staybridge because we recently stay at one in Harrisburg. And thought this may have been more for the points than the Hilton property. |Turned out this Staybridge was as good as the one in Harrisburg. This one wasn’t as clean and seemed older than the other one. Room was comfortable enough and thank god the window unit ac worked during this stay in 95+ degree weather. There was a problem with the hotels central ac system and halls and lobby were very warm and muggy at times. |We had to keep turning down the temp in the room to try and get the room cool enough for my wife. Room had two comfortable double beds and a kitchenette that was nice. |Breakfast was a little better than the other Staybridge in that they had fresh berries and better hard boiled eggs. They have a nice little outdoor pool that I used. No shade in the late morning and afternoon though. |Nice to cool off and get some exercise in the hot humid stay. There was no hot water at the coffee stand one of the stops I made there so no tea. But had the coffee stand with different coffees and cream. People at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. Decor of the room was darker in nature. |They did give out bottles of water on request and had free shaver and toothpaste, but no shave cream. And room was bigger than the one we would have had at the Hilton. |Didn’t get to the work out room or evening reception. Had a room on the forth floor away from elevators that was quite. |Not a bad stay….

Our experience at this hotel was delightful. Located close to the Ridley Creek State Park and Newlin Grist Mill, the hotel was the base for our hiking trip. The well-maintained premises have clean and well-maintained common areas that reflect the meticulous care taken by the staff. Our room was clean and comfortable, providing us with the perfect space to relax. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Each interaction was met with a smile and a willingness to ensure our stay was comfortable. The dining area provided ample room to enjoy breakfast without feeling crowded. The breakfast was terrific, offering several choices. Another highlight was the hotel's proximity to shopping and dining options. Being within walking distance was an added convenience. We were pleased by the hotel’s commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Highly recommended.

Nice place, a bit on the outskirts of Philly. We enjoyed coming back to the room from Philadelphia for the two nights we were there albeit the 30-40 min drive. I didn't mind the drive as I knew I would get a little more bang for the buck if we were a little further away. Rooms were spacious enough, maybe a slight face lift could have been needed, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was very friendly, and the continental breakfast had fresh items and enough variety (only gripe was the coffee). Gym was not too big but more than serviceable. Also, they have free laundry, which we didn't use. Overall, liked it and would recommend it.

Here for a work trip and went down to pick up a package on 06/13 and waited for quite a bit of time with other guests. (Longer than usual) it’s usually 3 young friendly ladies at the desk who are usually out within a minute. This time we waited and waited then a woman comes out to answer the phone after we had rung the bell for service prior with no answer. She then talks on the phone while we continue to wait. Finally goes to the back to get my package but then feels the need to pull me up in the computer and ask if I was a “stay over” while announcing in front of everyone the room I’m in. Usually I just sign for my package and go but she kept confirming room number in front of everybody. Then once package was signed for she repeatedly yelled have a nice day all the way until I was down the hall and loudly told other guests that I was rude. Experience had been good up until this encounter with what appeared to be an overwhelmed employee looking to take frustrations out on a guest. Do better.

The stay was perfect! Hotel staff is awesome. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable. I didn't want to wake up. This will be my hotel of choice for future stays.

The room we are in is lovely. The hotel room is nice. BUT the service is not good. The front desk did not refill our body wash soap upstairs. As well as did not bring us clean towels. When we asked them to bring it upstairs they literally handed the towels to my husband and I. And they seemed to know very well what room number is ours. I wouldn't;t be surprised if there is mafia operation here. So although it seems nice it may not be. I also noticed the breakfast sausage seems dry. And they did not ask us for room service or not. Someone just stopped by while we were here and opened the door and we have two cats who almost came running out. So, I'd avoid this place.
