Staybridge Suites Toledo - Maumee, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Maumee - 2300 Village Drive Bldg #1800, USA

This hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. They had everything you would need in the room, Dove body wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, Dove hand soap and lotion....no need to Bring your own and the kitchen had it all too. The pool was very nice and water is warm. The breakfast was phenomenal....hot scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt bar, all your breads, fruits and juices. The older gentleman handling the breakfast was very helpful, courteous and pleasant to talk to. I defiantly would stay again

Room was 73°f when we checked in so for night 1 of 2 we had the AC on and it's an older unit we're guessing. It was very loud. Night two was very peaceful. Aside from that, everything was wonderful and we will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Toledo. Fast, easy, low congestion access to the city from the south. Quiet area with a lot of shopping options available. Pool was warm and clean and not overly chlorinated. Staff was polite and friendly and helpful.

I was there for a few nights up until the morning after the staff walked out. The staff they had for were amazing!!! Very generous, caring, and quick! While taking my usual walks through the halls I over heard talks about the new owners who had just taken over and the way they were speaking to their employees like they were trash and disposable! Expecting some staff to continue working for an entire week without knowing what their pay would be right after firing one and cutting others pay drastically! The day before I checked out I had a maintenance issue so I called for help and was told that the maintenance people were told by the new ownership to not come in because they were trying to cut labor so instead of fixing what was wrong they just put me in a different room which was a downgrade from what I paid for! No reimbursement or anything! I don't blame them workers for walking out. The new ownership has already destroyed what used to be a lovely place to stay when I come in town for visiting family! Will definitely not be returning!!!!

All of the staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. When the coffee during breakfast ran out, they were quick to replace the container with a fresh, new one. There was always freshly made eggs and there was a wide selection of options to customize your breakfast. The front desk staff were helpful when we needed a specific accommodation. We will definitely stay at this hotel when in the Toledo area.

We are here for a month. So far everything is wonderful. Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. We are in a one bedroom suit which is very comfortable and has everything we need. We enjoy the morning breakfast which has a wide variety of items. Also they provide a lite meal in the evening 3 days a week. We meant a gentleman by the name of Bill who works the weekend breakfast and the evening appetizers . He does a great job keeping the food trays stocked and things clean. It’s so nice that he takes time to mingle with the guests and he enjoys showing the kids his magic tricks. They love it! And so do the adults.

My husband and I stayed on Friday night because we attended a Christmas Party nearby. I was pleasantly surprised with the price, especially after our stay. A nice touch was the full size toiletries in dispensers and the full size coffeemaker. Breakfast was very good with cheese omelets, waffles, fruit and more! Bill was our host and was most gracious. Staybridge Suites is lucky to have him!

I was upgraded to a two bedroom suite when I had just ordered a king bed. The room was rather large with bedrooms on both sides and a sitting area and kitchen in between. Members get a little treat bag upon getting to the hotel, which I thought was very thoughtful. Breakfast was expansive, compared to many hotel breakfasts. The parking lot is a little rough for wheeled luggage, but once you were in the hotel, it was rather easy to navigate. I am planning to stay at this hotel again mainly for the location, but also because it is definitely nicer than a standard hotel room, and the staff was extremely friendly and warm.

The washers were absolutely filthy. There was blood smeared all over our closet doors when we arrive. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast could definitely be improved. There was no hand sanitizer in breakfast area. Social night snacks were great. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room over all could of been cleaner and really needs new flooring and couches. The pool was cold, so we never went swimming. Our ice maker did not work and there are no ice machines, had to buy bagged ice. It was quiet and we did rest well. This is definitely not one of my top stays. We spend 200 + days a year in hotels and b&b's for work. This one just falls short for the cost. Expectations not met.
