Staybridge Suites Plano - Richardson Area, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Plano - 301 Silverglen Dr, USA

Stayed at a different location in Houston for the Eras tour and was expecting a much bigger and nicer hotel, but this was still way better than an average hotel room. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really yummy! Beds were comfortable for the most part and room was fairly clean. I didn’t love that there was no instruction on water/ice and that our tvs didn’t work. No help about it.

So many things. Big and small. Cleanliness is non-existent for rooms; no one hovers; no one changes bin bags; no one even brooms the floor; or put the dishes away from the sink into the dishwasher. All our requests for services were dealt with extremely poorly, sometimes waiting for 4-5 days to get something done and even then it didn't happen. They didn't have any fresh fruit after day 4 of our stay being served at breakfast (I asked for a banana for my son, and they said we don't have any more fruits until next week). Honey not served in breakfast, they said we are out until next week. Eggs were frozen; cheese omelette was from packaged food. I have been a Platinum member at IHG for almost 5 years now (recently got downgraded to Gold as of 1st Jan 2024). I have stayed hundreds of nights at different IHG hotels across the world. The Staybridge at Richardson was by far the worst experience I have had of any hotel stay, so much so that instead of extending my stay, I cut it shorter.

The room wasn't cleaned properly. The remotes were dirty, hair on towel. Not what I expected from Marriot run 3 star hotel. I'm very particular about my hotels and read through many reviews before booking and can't believe how unclean it was. I was too busy to ask for another room though so idk what they would have done. Bed/pillows were uncomfortable. AC got too hot or too cold. Breakfast is mediocre.

We haven’t had a worst experience at a hotel before. We have lived in multiple places around the world but this Staybridge Suites in Plano has literally been the worse! I can’t express how bad their service is. Chasing them for proper cleaning of the rooms, asking them for cutlery they have nothing here. Cleanliness is extremely poor, breakfast? We don’t even go downstairs for it. All of us fell sick at this hotel. Very very incompetent staff. The front desk is of no use. I am surprised how is this hotel even running. Don’t want to recommend this place to anyone, do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction. Congrats to them for losing a loyal platinum member!

great location for both business travel and shopping groceries for a longer stay. Check in is very easy. Room is clean, staffs are nice and very quickly reacting to my requests. The room's design is very cozy as well.

Great experience as usual. The pool was under construction, but the breakfast and all day coffee it’s just a must. It’s always convenient when traveling with kids when you have a full kitchen and three times more room than a traditional hotel room for the same price. The service was great and Abigail was so helpful this morning with our family getting breakfast.

Another reason for liking this property and the location is the pet policy and the cleaning policy. The policies are stated upfront and there is no hassle about cleaning the rooms with pets. There was another major chain that made it quite difficult to stay at their hotel even though the pet fees were paid and management had agreed to not cleaning the room daily because of the pets. So, the Staybridge hotel and the staff were excellent. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and relatives.

Every staff member I met at this hotel was overwhelmingly polite and helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety. Room was huge and very clean. Overall awesome hotel.
