Staybridge Suites Omaha West, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (389)
We had to change our reservation multiple times due to changes in my cancer treatment schedule. The hotel staff were so very kind and accommodating. They even upgraded our room to ensure a comfortable, quiet stay since I was going through medical procedures. This kind of service and kindness is so rare. Our room was clean, spacious and lovely. They have a good breakfast and a nightly happy hour (my hubby could partake) during the week. We could not be more impressed with the way we have been treated and will definitely make this our go-to place to stay in Omaha.
Our baseball team stayed for the Slumpbusters tournament in Omaha. Upon arrival we were required to sign addition rules on expectations during our stay. One of which was enforcing the quiet hours beginning at 10pm. It was very clearly stated that there would be zero tolerance or you would be kicked out of the hotel. I went over it with out children making sure they understood and every parents was required to read through and sign as well. Two of the six nights that we were staying there were parties being held on the patio in the back of the hotel. We had early games were following the quiet hour rules. The first night it took 3 phone calls to the front desk for them to handle the situation at 11pm. Other teammates were told that they had had multiple phone calls complaining, but it still took them an hour to get the party to quiet down . The second night this occurred the front desk just wouldn’t answer the phones. I went to the lobby to find two employees behind the desk, not answering the phones. I was told the next day that other team makes experienced the same thing and the front desk would only answer if you called from your cell phone (not knowing then that you were staying at the hotel). Disappointing when you are paying $400 a night for a room that typically goes for less than $100. Why have anyone sign paperwork if you aren’t going to execute the rules at all?
The stay was amazing. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I liked that they hotel had Dove products, that was a pleasant surprise for me. The windows do open, but very little, but enough to get air. Beds are comfy. The breakfast varied from our 2 night stay, one morning bacon, the other sausages but always oatmeal, cereals, waffles, eggs, yougurt and fruits. Full kitchen, but you must turn on the ice maker as soon as you get in the room, since there are no ice machines in the hotel (if you want ice). Pool was nice sized and good hours and not too busy. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. I will say parking can get tricky at night since the lots filled up after 6pm, but we do drive a XL SUV. Overall a really good stay and would definately return to any of their properties if this is how they are everywhere.
I stayed here with another mom, and 5 kids- very accommodating, had the room completely set up, with crib and everything ready for us. I did have a little hiccup with my card being charged funny before we checked in, but Tasha Kelly the manager fixed it right away. Very friendly staff, and gave me plenty of suggestions for food and things to do! First time traveling with my 5 year old daughter with celiac disease, and them having a kitchen in our room, made it very easy. Wish the breakfast had more accommodating breakfast items that were gluten free! But other than that! Amazing stay!
NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE IN A MANAGMENT POSITION WHEN THEY STAND THERE AND BREAK YOU DOWN TILL YOU FEEL LIKE A PEICE OF GARBAGE .There is a difference between being a General Manager and being fair and equal and there is also just mean and evil . Michele S. i pray to God that you learn the difference . There is absolutely no reason that you or any other human can justify your actions today. Why are you so angry? Appears to have a troubling spirit. I love that the "little people" are the only ones with expectations but who is holding michele s accountable ? Who is making sure this hotel is being ran humanly. So much for being in the hospitality industry. I was robbed of more then just a job . If there is a day where you question why you can't keep a breakfast attendant please remember how you made iguana feel so small to the point of feeling like I needed to go the emergency room . I've attached the pictures of all the things I DID NOT complain about but should of . Questions : 1. Why do some have to fallow the rules but not others? 2. Why did others work fall on me not being a manager or dep head? 3. Why did I lose 50. Cent pay because of YOUR mistake. 4. Did you know that someone at your front desk is schmoozing with big account guests?? Like I have said the thing I will miss the most is my relationships that I TBOUGHT I had . The love I THOUGHT I had. The support team I THOUGHT I had . This absolutely breaks my heart into a million pieces. This isn't how I planned my dismissal
Positive: Breakfast was very nice with many good choices Negative: We reserved a queen bed.?what we got was not a queen bed but a double size and very short in length.
Great all around. Rooms were excellent and clean. Daily service was unexpected. Location was amazing. Restaurants and grocery store within waking distance.
Loved this hotel stay. I feel like the price is fantastic for the cleanliness and luxurious feel of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool area was clean and the kids enjoyed it greatly. The beds were cozy and clean, the kitchenette had plates and dinnerware for those staying longer. Extra bedding and towels are available from the front desk and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful!
