Staybridge Suites Cleveland Mayfield Heights Beachwd, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Mayfield Heights - 6103 Landerhaven Dr, USA

The hotel is a little outdated compared to other locations, furniture and appliances are worn out already and needs to be replaced. The hotel management and staff can't control the guests smoking pot in the guest rooms which are all non-smoking. I was able to bring up the issues to the front desk and they were helpful which is one of the positive experience in my stay. One of the beds in the first room has broken box spring, one of the stove top is not working as well. But the staff in this hotel are very welcoming and friendly which makes our stay not bad.

This hotel is very comfortable and welcoming. Cozy beds and the best pillows! The management was so helpful and informative taking time to answer questions. The management and workers were all polite and friendly and the breakfast and social hour food was very tasty! The parking lot was well lit and clean. I felt safe coming and going. Great amenities and overall wonderful experience. The manager Randy was super nice and helpful.

Staff were great and accommodating, car parking is easy, rooms need to be cleaner, maintenance was happening but was of no disruption. I would stay here again, I think from other reviews there are efforts being made to improve the hotel. Have a separate lounge area was a bonus. I don’t think you can AirPlay to the Tv which is shame but still a good space. Small kitchenette was basic but worked fine. A toaster would be good, not sure if that is an issue as many hotels don’t have them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Traveled here for work and was genuinely scared for my health. I arrived and the person at the desk was great, gave me the key and I drive around and parked near the room. I go in the entrance and it smells horribly of weed...which is what it is....it's a non smoking hotel so it shouldn't be there but that I could Care less about. I get I to the room and after a long trip i was ready to settle down. I go to adjust the AC as it was 60 degrees and the heat will not work. I go to use the phone to call the desk and there is no phone line cord and it will not work. So I call from my cell phone and they say they will send up maintenance. I go to use the bathroom only the light will not come on, then the light for the sink area will not either, there is a lamp by the bed and it also doesn't come on so I bend down to see if it needs to be plugged in only to find a broken used crack pipe just under the edge of the bed. The side of the best is covered in horrible stains... maintenance guy shows up in normal clothes not a uniform and he smells badly of weed he opens a breaker box in the room and flips every breaker and tells me the room has a short in the wiring and it should be good for a while now, disregards the crack pipe and leaves. Needless to say, I did not stay and left to another hotel. Here are a couple of the pictures I got of the stains on the bed and the broken pipe.

The location is great, but the property is not maintained well. Noticed things not functional in our room. They have chosen a dark grey paint color for the rooms and even with all the lights turned on the room appeared dark. I have stayed at a lot of Staybridge Suites and never had this issue. Some of the guests in the breakfast area looked like they haven’t eaten for days.

Was a great location. The room was spacious. I understand that low staffing happens but when my room was cleaned they didn't give me any towels. I also noticed some weird stains on the bed skirt. They do provide a cool social hour with snacks during the week.

Stayed here for work, rooms were not ready at a reasonable time at check in, kitchen floor was filthy to say the least. It was obviously not cleaned after the last guests, or a longer period of time. Had maid service and requested extra towels, towels were left, not in the quantity requested but with a note that basically said try again tomorrow. Not to mention, dirty towels that were on the floor were not retrieved, nor was the trash emptied. Just horrible service overall. Would not recommend this hotel for any stay especially long-term; mattresses need replacing. Never been so glad to leave a hotel.

Front desk was friendly and accommodating when we upgraded to a king room . The room wasn't the cleanest. Staff was vacuuming the hallway outside our room at 10:30 p.m.! The next door to us was smoking pot at 3:30 a.m. The smell was strong enough to wake us up. We will never stay here again.
