I spent three nights at Stay Open Venice Beach, and it was such a positive experience. The two staff that I met, Damla and David made me feel really welcome and are super friendly. The POD was incredibly comfortable and quiet, and the facilities are amazing. The location is also perfect with great views of the sea. I also really appreciated the flexibility regarding check-out because I had a late flight. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Venice Beach choose Stay Open, you won’t be disappointed, it’s fantastic, great value, and highly recommended.
My stay at Stay Open was exactly what I had hoped it would be. Dave and Akia were super kind, informative and pleasant to deal with.
The place is as advertised. Its bright, spacious and has incredible views. You're living on Venice Beach.
I must stress this is NOT A HOTEL. This is a home away from home. The space is very well kept (that have a housekeeper come in daily to tend to the shared spaces). There is fridge and pantry space for each guest, as well as a nice big kitchen that Dave will fill with great smells while he cooks his morning omelet or dinner. That being said there is going to be some sand that gets tracked in, and not every piece of furniture is going to be bright and shiny and new.
Quiet hour is at 10pm but it was never an issue to enter or leave the space during that time. Everyone I encountered there was very respectful of other guests. It is NOT a place to party all night if that's what you are hoping for, but there are plenty of bars in the area that can feed that craving.
My only knock on the spot is that near the end of the trip my pod started to get real warm and the internal ventilation in my pod seemed to not be able to offset the August sun that came in in the morning. No worries though, I just put my swim trunks on and walked out to the ocean that is STEPS AWAY to cool off.
I will hands down return to Stay Open, and I have been telling everyone since I cam home about how wonderful my accommodations were.
This is a great spot and there needs to be more places like it.
Excellent location and accommodation! Huge building with only around 10 pod beds so there’s lots of space for everyone, including chill space, a roof top area and working area. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Loved my stay and would recommend!
I will be back 100%. Staff amazing, beds super comfy, great location. You have everything you could need and more, as a solo traveler I felt super comfortable and safe. The views were absolutely stunning and the whole place felt very homey. I had such a great experience I can’t wait to tell everyone in Australia!
Première expérience en auberge et franchement pas déçue. Le lieu est sensationnel avec une sublime vue sur la plage. Super accueil de la part de Kaïa et Dave, qui ont été aux petits soins. L'auberge est très propre, les espaces communs très agréable et la cabine permet d'avoir un peu d'intimité. On s'y sent comme à la maison ! j'y ai rencontré des gens très gentils, calmes et respectueux, voyageant en solo aussi.
J'y suis restée 13 jours et compte bien y revenir !
