Stay Hotel Waikiki - Hotel in Honolulu - 2424 Koa Ave, USA

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was perfect for what we planned to do in the area. It was bright, comfortable and clean, and no musty smell like other hotels as the fresh air flows through when opening the bathroom window. The service was great, the staff was super-friendly, and coffee and snacks were always free and available. The location is perfect! A two minute walk to the beach and walking distance to everything along the main road; endless shopping, restaurants and beach activities. We were sorry we even rented a car as everything was within walking distance. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we saved a lot of money too! 😀

Usually you're paying top $ for prime location, not with this hotel. While it may not be "beachfront" its only a short walk to prime beach access. The back street its located on isn't very classy, the rooms are tired/outdated, only some free snacks/coffee but they make up for it with excellent service and being such a great value (especially with free laundry and a small fridge in each room)! I also felt much better spending my $ on this "local" business rather than the corporate mainland hotel chains. I just hope they make enough to renovate instead of selling out or closing. This hotel was perfectly clean and comfortable for an affordable hotel. It’s not modern or updated, but if you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep while you’re out and about each day, this is the best pick. We will definitely be back! The staff, both front desk and housekeeping, were extremely friendly and took care of our every need. They were lovely.

Staff was friendly and service was great but the room we had was very small. None of the pictures online show this and they use deceptive pictures that are either not from this hotel or are from certain rooms. Be careful booking two twin rooms. The beds are literally 1 foot apart from each other and the space is very cramped. No table or seating is available but the front desk was kind enough to provide camping chairs for us upon request.

I give 1 star because I want to make a point: Hotelroom is very small. There are beautiful photos on the website, but they do not entirely match reality. The bathroom is very small and there is not a single chair in the room. You can also hardly leave your suitcase open in your room, there is really no room for this. There is a coffeemaker and a refrigerator in the room. The hotel is close to Waikiki Beach. And around the hotel there are many restaurants, souvenirshops and ABC Stores. The hotel offers a number of services: free coffee and tea (in the room and in the lobby), free filtered water, free use of the washing machine and dryer, free beach towels and there is an ATM in the lobby. The housekeeping employees are very friendly and if you do not think it is necessary for them to clean your room, you can ask them for clean towels, etc. The lobby also has the entrance to a karaokebar. You can come here every evening from 5 p.m. Even though the hotel room was very small, we had a pleasant stay here.

Just spent 2 weeks here in waikiki beach. Stayhotel waikiki is the only place to stay. 2nd time I have been here. Super clean hotel.1 block to the beach. As I said before this place is it. Rooms comfortable .incredible staff. Amenities include mini fridge microwave towels and such for the beach coffee tea snacks in lobby all day. Everyone makes you feel at home. Already thinking about my next visit. So close to anything you need. Plenty of things to do close by. Miss you all. Many thanks for another wonderful time.

The hotel location is very convenient, with many shopping places nearby and very close to Waikiki Beach. However, the room is a bit small and there are no chairs to sit on. My partner and I had to lay towels on the ground and sit on them Most of the staff at this hotel are very friendly, except for one person. When I checked in, I encountered a woman named Jocelyn. She is not very tall and has blond hair. As soon as she saw my passport, she insisted that I provide my "Chinese address." When I wrote down my American address, she repeatedly questioned its authenticity without any valid reason. I also noticed that her attitude towards me was markedly different compared to the white couple in front of me. She explained the extra resort fees to them in a very nice and patient manner. However, when I inquired if I needed to pay any extra resort fees, she completely ignored my question. I can't understand why she treated me this way. Was it because of my race? Despite this incident, most of the employees here are very friendly. However, I hope the hotel can ensure that all guests are treated fairly, regardless of their race.

For the price and location this is a great hotel! The rooms are not as modern as the photos, they are small and basic but we basically only slept there. Highly recommend paying for parking at the hotel, you won’t find street parking and all other parkades fill up fast & will be the same if not more expensive. The view was just of other hotels or construction. Super close to the beach, markets and other attractions! I packed ear plugs based on other reviews, but on the 5th floor we never needed them.
