Stay Express Inn Chattanooga, TN - Hotel in East Ridge - 6510 Ringgold Rd, USA

Just stayed here for a couple weeks. It's by far the nicest rooms in the price range. You can expect fluffy pillows, clean rooms, and plenty of water pressure from the oversized shower heads. The outside could use cleaning here or there, and there is no breakfast available. The pool is not open, but overall it's a great value. You can often save 3 to 10 dollars by booking through Agoda. I never saw a bug, and Matt was attentive by asking if I needed anything when he saw me. Matt follows and enforces the rules or laws regarding the property, yet he extended courtesy and kindness to me in an unexpected way on check-out day which I really appreciated. Shannon is very pleasant, singing, humming, and smiling as she completes her front desk tasks. Thanks for a nice stay y'all.

Did not have a good experience. Checked in and went out to dinner. Came back and noticed how filthy the room was and there was something going on in the parking lot that felt uneasy (police were involved). I contacted my booking company and then proceeded to the front desk to ask about changing hotels and was told since it was over 45 minutes there was nothing they could do and offered no solution. As soon as I walked back into my room a roach crawled out from under the bed. I packed up my stuff and immediately booked another hotel. I did catch the roach in a cup and gave it to the front desk when I dropped off the key card. This was a terrible experience and I do not recommend.

I stayed here because this hotel was closer to me. I paid for the reservation online and it cost me $90 per night. When I arrived at this motel, they asked me for another $100 deposit, the first time I've encountered this in my travels. I started arguing that when I booked the hotel, this information was not on Expedia. In the end, I gave the deposit, went into the room. And I saw a horror - cockroaches on the floor, they started running in different directions. The room was dirty, the linen on my bed was very old. But I was very tired, since I had been driving for more than 10 hours and didn't have the strength to go ask them to change the room. I woke up in the morning and my whole body was itching, some kind of allergy, probably because the bed linen was poorly washed or not washed at all. A terrible motel. I moved to another one, $20 cheaper and much better.

When we booked the room through Priceline, the photo of the room showed 2 full beds, which we needed because it was my adult son, grandson, and me. We made the reservation, and arrived at the motel just a few minutes later. We went to check in and the desk clerk was rude, saying they wouldn't even receive the booking from Priceline for another 15-20 minutes and we'd just have to wait. We finally checked in, and informed the clerk that we had a service dog with us, and she asked what service he provides! That's a no-no. I'm pretty sure that violates HIPAA. We got to the room to find just one bed and 2 small chairs. We all ended up sharing that bed, which is too small for 2 adults, let alone adding a small child. I got up during the night, and had to flush a COCKROACH down the sink!! There were no towels in the room at all, just 2 wash cloths, so there was another unfriendly encounter with the desk clerk. Don't stay here unless you are desperate. We paid about $70 for one night - totally not worth it for the rudeness, accommodations not being what was advertised, and bugs.

This has to be the nicest place we've ever been to under $100 a night, by far. Trust the other reviews. So nice that the floors weren't carpeted, and everything was exceptionally clean. We also had a dog and the pet fee was extremely reasonable ($15). The room was very quiet, and even though there was another dog a nearby we never heard it.

I chose to not book my two day long stay because of some obstacles. I walk right in and pay on the spot while they are mentally prepared to be up late at night. My room was gorgeous and put together. It was just right but the only suggestions that I would make in the future is that please get a pest control person to check out the variety of bugs crawling around in the bathroom and the lack of control over decision-making to ensure when I would be considered loitering. I wasn't planning on staying but the demeanor towards me moving out did not impress me. There were two elderly people, a woman and a man who maybe felt intimidated by a man walking on crutches who accused me of doing something wrong by waiting for them to let me know when to leave. Those two told me that by law they were going to call the cops but I don't buy that because they both seemed scared after speaking to the man walking around with the crutches who talked to me first. I still couldn't tell but the two elderly employees acted as if they were threatened by him to give me an explanation I already knew they were going to give to me. So it might've come off like they were threatening me but not. I feel sorry for those two that I also came off as frustrated after listening to the man with the crutches. It is not their fault and I already told them this. I still followed orders. I have nothing else to say other than I would highly recommend this place for the low rates but not until whatever happened to me gets solved.

No complaints other than door was hard to open and shut. Beds are really comfortable and the shower had great water pressure + super hot water. TV/wifi hardly worked but we were only in the room to sleep so that wasn’t a big deal. No sign of roaches like other reviews have stated in the past. Overall very clean and the best bang for your buck!

Positive: Ease of access from the interstate and price. Negative: It's listed as pet-friendly and does allow pets, but the there is no place to walk a dog. The only available grace was a narrow strip right by a busy road. The room smelled of marijuana, there as mold in the shower. The AC was noisey.
