The value, quality, staff and rooms make this the best spot in South Lake. I am hesitant to even share this review because I want this place all to ourselves LOL. The rooms are small but really cozy, clean and feel like a mountain cabin. Love that they are great about dogs. And the free drinks upon arrival are always something I look forward to
I loved my stay at this hotel.
The rooms are comfortable and very well decorated, in addition to having everything we could need, the beauty products available are great.
The lobby is one of the most beautiful and inviting to enjoy, with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and popcorn always available.
The staff are super friendly and helpful.
I made a reservation for two nights, but ended up extending one more!
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a little small but that is not necessarily a bad thing. We fit in all snug as a bug, it was cozy and comfortable. I enjoyed all the wood, especially on the ceiling, it felt like you are in a cabin in the woods. I like that! They have a restaurant that is currently being renovated so we didn't get to try it but look forward to next time!! Loved the lobby area so cozy and inviting.
I really enjoy the vibe and feel of the rooms. They did great with all the details and design giving a homey feel. We were walking distance from the main strip which was great so we didn’t have to search/pay for parking in town. The reason I did not give a 5 star is because the bed was way too firm. My boyfriend and I tossed all night as if we slept on the floor. The pillows were also too soft that I needed 3 of them to feel any support. The walls are very thin and we could even hear our neighbors snoring!! Along with neighbors TVs playing all night long. Overall, a cute vibe but not comfortable.
This is a great hotel - rooms are spacious and very well furnished. The location is very convenient, central SLT is a quick 5 min walk away.
The evening staff were excellent - courteous and friendly. The lady at the reception went out of her way to make sure we had a good time at the fire pit, cleaning the chairs and providing towels for us.
Great location, really kind staff, and cute little rooms. Perfect size for 2 people wanting a getaway. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Equal distance from the beach and from the shops. Especially loved the hot tub. Would absolutely come back!
Location hard to beat. Generally parking is easy to find. Rooms are motel esque but the decor is not dingy. Could have brighter lighting in the rooms. Will continue to patronize at this establishment despite those reasons.
Staying for NYE weekend with our two year old and small dog. The room is very cozy, clean and nicely sized. The location is walking distance to the Stateline and Heavenly shopping area. We would stay here again. It's not luxury but it's definitely worth the price.

Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.

Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
