This is gonna be long but the goal is to help future prospective clients looking into this venue. 😊 SCC was a really beautiful venue for a wedding, they have really good food too (would come here again and again for their food), they have very friendly and efficient kitchen staff, they also have an above and beyond event coordinator (she was amazing). So happy we chose this venue! ❤️ We only had one complication with the music and video set up because no one was able to help us set it up until late in the afternoon, so we had to figure that out to ourselves. But it worked out in the end. 😊 We strongly recommend anyone renting their video and audio to work on the media set up really ahead of time and plan where you'll be plugging things around and where you'll set up control. 🤗 Like what the owner has responded in one of the reviews here in google, they do charge a small fee of $50 for their sound system because of how basic it was. Although this was not something that was brought to our attention when we asked to rent their sound. 😅 It wasn't communicated to us that it's one switch for all sound source, also partially our fault for not checking or asking, but it wasn't brought up to us upfront (like what the owner's reposponse to someone else's review was mentioned). If we knew beforehand, we would have brought additional audio equipment. But that's okay, we learn from small complications like these, it's just we expected more for a country club. The only important note to remember when taking this venue into consideration is that if you are a big music lover looking to celebrate your event with music playing alongside a program, it'll be challenging to do it if you'll only rely on their sound system. Their sound system has a single switch for all types of input, which means you need to pick which one is being heard at a time. Either mic is on and music is off or video sound is muted and mic is on and so on. The only way to make it work is either bring your own mic with a speaker for it or your own source of music with a speaker for it, that way you can have music or video playing while the host has their mic on too at the same time. 😅 Will recommend this venue to anyone with confidence, but with the note on the limitations of their sound system for all the music lovers out there and those who wants a lively party fueled by constant music. 🤗 Oh! also if you ever decide to layout for a dance floor, keep your tables and dance floor closer to the front because if you distance your tables and the dance floor from front all the way to the very back, you'll have to either have really loud music in the front and barely hear it at the back or just have the music softly playing in the background for front and back, because the speakers are placed in parts where its either you get real loud at the ballroom or have it playing softly for all places. A solution to this is have everyone close to the front, so that everyone can hear and enjoy the music at a reasonable volume. 🤗

The service was great. I attended a wedding here, and the servers did a great job, but the accommodations left much to be desired. The sound system was not configured very well and we either got feedback or we could barely hear what anyone was saying. Frought with bumps and hiccups, I think everyone managed well for not being set up for success, but pretty disappointing from an operations perspective.

What an AMAZING venue !! The staff is very attentive and make it so you don’t have to do much but show up! It was a great experience working with Bria and Zach!! And the food is delicious. You will not regret booking your wedding here !!

We were members here for over a year. It was a mostly very positive experience. The rates are very good for a private course. The layout is pretty good, and overall the conditioning of the course is good, with the exception of the greens during the summer, however, they'll be replacing the greens soon to resolve that issue. I highly recommend the course. The facilities are very nice. The pace of play is usually very good. The customer service is good. Brad, the head pro, is a very nice guy, and a great player. The members are very nice. It's probably the best value for the money around.

Beautiful golf club with a great restaurant and views. I love the chicken salad croissant sandwich and the root soup. Our server was prompt and very welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful luncheon experience.

My wife and I had our wedding at the Statesville Country Club on 10/9/21 and let me start off by saying it was a DREAM. Jaylin from statesville country club along with my coordinators made sure our day went perfect without any hiccups. The staff at Statesville country club were very attentive to guest! The food was amazing!!!!!! Oh and let’s not forget their gold course )where our ceremony was) is breathtaking!!!! I highly recommend this place to future couples!!!!!

Nice place, but I advise to pick a different space if hosting a summer event. The air conditioning did not work at all, everyone at my event was sweating! Many people complained with no result. Staff was very unresponsive.

No issues with the venue. Had to strain to hear the officiant of the wedding I attended, due to a party in the room next door. Perhaps they should give more consideration to the types of events they book simultaneously. Other than that, nice venue.
