Starr Pass Golf Suites - Resort hotel in Tucson - 3645 W Starr Pass Blvd, USA

My husband and I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Golf Pass Suites. Our timeshare unit was spacious and thoughtfully designed, making it an ideal choice for couples seeking relaxation. One of the highlights was the spacious well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to prepare meals together with ease. However, we would have preferred all of the equipment to be stainless steel pots and pans over Teflon, for health reasons. The large, clean bathrooms, complete with dual sinks, were another plus. While the shower could have been larger, it did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment. We also love the natural light throughout the unit, including the bathroom and common areas! The ceiling fan was appreciated during the hot July weather, though another ceiling fan in the bedroom would have been ideal. The air conditioning unit was effective but extremely noisy, which made it challenging to sleep at times. The in-suite laundry facilities were convenient, but we found that the washing machine's performance could use improvement. The staff at Golf Pass Suites were exceptionally helpful and attentive, which greatly enhanced our experience. We also enjoyed the beautifully landscaped grounds, access to a well-equipped gym, and the nearby hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Golf Pass Suites and eagerly look forward to returning. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in Tucson!

The timeshare suit is in the foothills near the JW Marriott resort. The units were nice, roomy and fully appointed. On our first afternoon we saw about 15 javelinas go by our patio, never to be seen by us again! Then we witnessed a bright light in the sky which was a Space X launch! Our unit 41, was at the end of the road, very quiet and with a good mountain view. We ate at the restaurant twice, on the patio overlooking the golf course. The food and service were excellent. We did much exploring around Tucson and basically had a blast being together (we went to high school together 50 years ago!!)

The room was clean however extremely small. The cleaning personnel very nice and thoughtful. It was an RCI exchange which does not compare at all to my original timeshare property. This room is actually part of a larger suite , I had only a bedroom of that suite with a bathroom. The restaurant was off limits the duration of my stay either due to private parties or closure. Also the room was very noisy.

Positive: The check in staff were kind and helpful. Negative: My room had wet carpet, when i put a towel in it, it was all brown. I called maintenance and they set someone quickly. The tub was a little stained and the sink did not drain.

Every staff member we encountered was very nice e & quite helpful. We ate at the clubhouse restaurant & enjoyed our meals & the excellent service we received. The front desk was quite helpful for directions & a provided Tucson map. We are planning to return next year for a longer stay. We don't play golf, but the whole setting is so beautiful from the building design to the excellent landscaping. We had a great time.

We stayed here to explore Saguaro National Park and were absolutely blown away by the place compared to the price we paid. We woke up and got to see sunrise with the giant Saguaro cactuses right out our back door, and had a spacious suite to sprawl out in. We thought this was such an awesome deal for the price, which is why I wanted to go out of the way to leave this review. Additionally, we got in late (the Front desk closes at 10 PM), and the directions on how to contact the security guard to let us into our room were clear and easy to understand. Also, the security guard himself was an INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY, INCREDIBLY HELPFUL guy, and someone I wanted to single out for really helping us feel welcome. We will be recommending this place to others staying in the area. It was great.

My wife and I stayed at this resort for one week in the middle of April. Our first impression was the friendly greeting from the front desk staff Juliana and Rebecca, who checked us in efficiently, and found us a terrific one bedroom unit for our stay. If you wish to dine-in, the attached Catalina Sports Bar serves great food and drinks, and looks out onto the beautiful golf course, but if you plan to explore, the resort location is ideally situated, just a 10-15 minute drive to restaurants and stores in Tucson, but right on the edge of the Saguaro National Park West. Just one suggestion, we would strongly recommend that if you stay here, make sure to choose at least a one-bedroom unit, because on a previous trip we found the studio units pretty tight on space and facilities. We absolutely enjoyed the nearby desert landscape, and would not hesitate to return to Starr Pass again…..loved it !

Réservation annulée 48h avant notre arrivée en raison d'un surbooking, alors que nous avions prévu un séjour de 4 jours dans cet hôtel à la fin d'un roadtrip en Arizona. On s'est donc retrouvés à devoir chercher en urgence un hébergement (avec le surcoût à 2 jours de l'arrivée...). Du coup, on ne vous remercie pas pour le surbooking. Sinon, l'hôtel a l'air sympa, mais méfiez-vous des surbookings, des déceptions et des réorganisations au dernier moment en stress.
