Starlite Motel - Motel in Fraser - 31420 Groesbeck Hwy, USA

The rooms are clean, newly renovated. No smelly carpet and NO bugs of any kind. The office folks are helpful and pleasant. If you need something they get it right away. Best part is I feel safe.

Water takes 30 mins to get warm not hot .... comfortable room tho ... the cleaning lady is rude .. wants the check on TV and doesn't know what I have in the room so she needs to check on that claim it's their policy. Never heard of that one lol they don't even have that policy in writing so u know what your getting into She said it's common sense if u stay longer then 3-4 days

The motel staff are very nice, the lady Cindy that does the house keeping is very good at her job. She does a wonderful job. Very nice and will attend to any need you may have related to get job. She cleans our room and it looks so great. I would recommend this motel to anyone who is seeking a nice place to rest or temp stay.

Tramatized from staying at this horrible place. Felt extremely unsafe the entire time. Drunks knocking on my door all day and night. People grabbing at the door handle. The room was as disgusting as it gets. Floors were not even walkable on. Bugs all over the bathroom floor. Shower was so gross I didn't want to step foot in there. People in the office extremely rude. They changed the prices daily. They put me, a single woman, between two rooms that had construction going on from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m. they did nothing to make the situation better. I should have been refunded for the inconvenience but they ignored me.I am traumatized. I didn't sleep a wink in two days. Do not go to this place. I went down the road to another place and finally was able to sleep. Ten times the room for 15 dollars more a week. This place is clean and I finally feel safe. To the owner: your response is untrue! I was never shown the room and was dropped off there due to a divorce situation. If I could have left five minutes after I had arrived I would have. That was the most horrific three days of my life. Due to the construction alone I should have been refunded since I wasn't notified in advance. Not to mention how disgusting it was and how badly myself and the people that paid for me to stay there were treated.

I turned the lights on & there were two baby roaches on the wall. I asked for my money back right away & he asked my why? I told him that there are roaches here & there is no way I can stay here. He did not deny it at all about my complaint. He returned my money immediately! I am glad I checked that room out before I brought ANY of my things in!!! Disgusting! Should NOT be in business nor have any rights to one. PERIOD!

Horrible room, nothing works properly, holes all over in the walls. Owner tried to steal my money. Gave me a refund only after i called him a thief and told him i was calling the police and they can deal with it. I was very close to physically assaulting him.

The rooms are decently sized, but they are dark and in need of a coat of paint. Leftover nicotine on the walls from previous guests. Furniture in the room is old and mostly broken, but clean. Beds have plastic coverings on them, so maybe they have bed bugs? I didn't see any bugs period. I'm here visiting a friend and he commented on the management possibly being on crack, I can't verify since I didn't talk to the manager. Carpets are filthy and I absolutely don't recommend taking your shoes off at any point. I can't believe they would ask a deposit here, since it would be nearly impossible to determine what damage was caused by what guest. Overall, it's not bad to chill and party in at all, but please don't attempt to actually use the bed or shower.

Me and my girlfriend came here and got a room for a week which is $300. We have 3 days left here and our stay is nothing but disappointing. Employees here are nothing but rude, disrespectful, and non helpful. It's 6am and my girlfriend wakes up to use the bathroom. As she is on the toilet, I hear a scream and there's a cockroach crawling on her inner thigh, all in the toilet bowl and all over the bathroom floor. I go to report it to the office and all he tells me is I will change your room at 11 am. Mind you it's 6 am so 5 hours from now he will address the issue, I don't think so. I paid $300 for this room. I want money back or something to compensate this terrible, disgusting stay. As soon as im done writing this review, I will be looking up the Macomb County Health Department and reporting the Starlite Motel for having cockroaches. The manager acted like it was no big deal. Well.if I wanted to pay $300 and have roaches for roommates. I would have stayed across 8 mile. Then to top it off, I said I want to speak with the owner in the morning and I was told no and leave the office.
