I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Starlight Hotel in Flushing, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall! The hotel offers affordable prices, making it a fantastic option for those traveling on a budget without sacrificing comfort. One of the highlights of my stay was the cleanliness of the rooms. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a tidy environment. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as complimentary water and toothbrushes, which made my stay even more convenient. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, adding a lovely atmosphere to my stay. It was a joy to wake up and take in the sights of the area. While my experience was mostly positive, I did find the beds to be a bit less comfortable than I would have liked. As someone with a back problem, I found it challenging to get a good night’s sleep. I hope the management can consider upgrading the mattresses in the future. On a positive note, the customer service at the front desk was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to help with any inquiries I had. My only other suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the cleaning procedures. On occasion, I noticed that the rooms cleaning could use a little more attention. Starlight Hotel is a great choice for an affordable stay in Flushing. With its clean rooms, beautiful views, and outstanding customer service, I would definitely recommend it to others. I look forward to returning in the future and hope to see some improvements in the comfort of the beds!

I’m a young woman traveling alone - if you care about your safety DO NOT STAY HERE. I booked a great rate months before my trip. The day before I arrived, I called and confirmed my reservation and check-in time. When I arrived, I was told my reservation had been cancelled. I was never notified and even my app showed I had a confirmed reservation. They told me my credit card was declined, but there was no attempted charge. They said they were fully booked and I had to leave (this was at 11pm at night). I’m guessing they found someone who they could charge a higher rate for the room. I was alone in the middle of the night without anywhere to go. I asked for other hotel recommendations and they refused to even talk to me and just told me to leave. I’ve never experienced people so cold and without any compassion. They are ruthless scam artists. Stay clear of this place.

We stayed at The Starlight to attend the Foo Fighter concert at Citi Field and were impressed with the size and cleanliness of the room. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, tea kettle, microwave, & coffee maker. I loved how we could walk everywhere with ease. The late night walk from Citi Field was very safe. The parking at the mall across the street was very close and only cost $20.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. I asked for stairs (I don’t do elevators, I know in NY lol) and they offered me a lower floor room with balcony. Clean and close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Highly recommended

We were looking for a place close enough to City Field. We were not sure whether to book this place or not based on the reviews. We had a super clean room and the employees were very nice to us. The walk to the Mets game was safe for a late game. I would stay there again.

I stayed here on June 25th-27th. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are extremely nice. I usually have major insomnia issues but slept like a baby the bed was so comfortable. We came into town from Texas to see the Mets and the hotel being only .5 miles away from city field was a definite bonus. The hotel staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. This will be the only hotel I ever stay out from now on when visiting New York. Hoping to come back soon with my husband to show him the beauty of Flushing and hope he loves it as much as I do. Also not having to leave a deposit when checking in was a major plus. Thank you for making our trip one we will never forget.

Loved staying here, the room was clean and a great size. It was perfect for what we needed, which is a safe clean place to sleep at night. They have netflix set up, so that was nice. There was no mini-fridge or microwave in the room, which was fine for us, since we went around to eat. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The location is great! It's across the street from Skyview Mall and walking distance from so many more malls and places to eat in flushing. Will definitely be returning when we're back in town.

Starlight Hotel is AWESOME! the rooms are tidy, tastefully decorated and full of amenities. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every request. location is fantastic too! Skyview mall is directly across the street. i parked there and it was only $24/day
