We stayed in Cabin D and it was very clean and accommodating. The hosts were very responsive when asked questions. The kids wanted to swim but the water did not look right but they played games down at the pool area so they were fine with that. Overall, this is a nice place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

The host was responsive, we had to add a cabin the last minute and they were able to relocate us so we could be next door. They also let us check in early. Family enjoyed the grounds and pool and games! Star gazing was also very nice there.

My family and I stayed at Starlight Horizons camp grounds. It was so fun and easy. The cabins had plenty of room for a family and the kitchen was well supplied for what we needed. The pool was spacious and enjoyable. I loved the wifi speakers by the pool, creating a great vibe. We love the view of the hill country and the sunset was incredible—great get away for the fam.

We stayed 3 nights at the Starlight and had the best time! The staff is very prompt with any issues. The cabins are spacious for a family of 6. PROS: fully stocked kitchen, clean, yard games, fire pits, hammocks, family friendly, pet friendly, updated furniture and appliances, BIG bathtub, closets in every room, washer and dryer, firewood included CONS: the pool should be heated when it’s cold or have a hot tub, shared grill (which didn’t work on our trip) super close to main road so a little noisy at times

We stayed in Cabin J and loved it! It was just as pictures showed and a great place for our family of 6. We also took 2 dogs and our hosts were beyond accommodating. They’re extremely fast with communication as well so if you have any issues that would need immediate attention, they are always available and willing to answer questions. We brought a queen mattress and we for it in one room for extra bed space for our littles and it worked great. Can’t wait to visit again!

Our crew had the best time! The cabins are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The pool area is great and I loved the common area with games for everyone. I will recommend Starlight Horizon to everyone I know.

Self check- in, prompting to no one monitoring the area (which was fine at first.) The cabin itself was a double wide mobile home that’s spacious, modern and neat. The deck was relaxing and the vibe at first was inviting. As far as the pool, gaming and grill area, was to be shared on a who gets there first basis. Me and my 2 sisters got there first saving the grill area for our family. But a group of 10 or more people decided it was okay to shove us off the grill and basically harassed me and my 2 sisters calling us names and coming into physical contact with one of my sisters. I asked them to wait their turn but the women (which were way older than us) called us names and accused us of being on drugs and drinking. For context, they were the ones drinking, twerking and playing inappropriate songs in the pool area as to why we were waiting on them to leave to go for a swim. One of them was wearing a tiny bikini and you could see her private parts. Like c’mon have some respect for everyone else. This is where I wished someone would come to control them but there was no one there. They insulted our race and ganged up on us. I thought my sister was gonna be hit by a woman way larger and older than her. After 5 mins my family showed up with the steaks to be cooked the men decided to come to an agreement. Yet, they kept commenting racial and offensive words. We were sitting down and after saying grace one of them comments, “Look at them dogs eating til they can’t no more.” We decided to ignore them but didn’t feel safe going to the pool or using the fire pit for s’mores no more. The cops got involved but we decided not to press charges as we’re not from the area and had to come back to petition to the judge. Overall, I do not feel like this place is family friendly as everyone does what they please with no one in control on premises. Would not go back especially with our children being so small.

Starlight was a pleasure from the minute we decided to book. The website was very user friendly and the communication from there on out was detailed and very timely. We thank Starlight for their kindness and look forward to booking another trip there.
