Location is great, buildings and rooms definitely need remodeling. Place is very dated, and some clients are iffy at best. New Life Discovery Project will be taking it over for their needs. Ex.. transitional housing, veterans care, and possibly some respite care.
Half the place is a half way home and sober living while the other half is regular patrons who seem to be predominantly drug addicts or homeless persons which is contradictory and ironic that the people who are attempting to recover, however, watch people openly using right outside their front windows. Seems like a setup for failure. Then, for vacationers looking for affordable motels have no warning of the happenings within the property. Don't forget to lock your doors, windows and all personal property, update your innoculations. Be sure and pack your chastity belt and bring insecticide, hand sanitizer, rubber gloves, particulate face mask, plastic bed cover and sound proof earplugs. Otherwise very relaxing.
My stay was Terrible!!! Writing on B.Rm. wall. It stunk!!! Furniture on bed when I opened the door. Stain on sheets.. There was flys, spiders & when I woke up there was roaches crawling on bed.. I sprayed afew & shower door & B.Rm. door didn't close.. Person above me was Sooo noisy,(from about 10:30p.m. to about 3:a.m. "No Sleep" for me... All in All I think this place should be condemned.. shut down for good!!!😠 YUCK!!! YUCK!!! YUCK!!! 😡 Noone should stay at this place!!!!! 🤮
Cockroaches really bad in the rooms the service is no good I can stay it's not clear at all they can help homeless people
The manager/owner and staff are friendly, and so wonderful. My little family stayed here for about 5 weeks. I was grateful for the politeness of the gentleman that run the place, and I felt safe with them there. They worked with me and my situation and made life easier for me, and were very accommodating with my requests. Thank you Stardust! Did not like that is full of cockroaches.
It's basic. It's downtown. It's slightly creepy. The housekeepers seem kinda shady and I was uncomfortable leaving anything of value in the room. But it was cleaner than expected. Not great. But cheap. Update: Nothing has improved. It's still weird and creepy but clean-ish. Definitely still shady stuff going on as well.
I really don't think this place deserves even a one star review. Total rip off. We paid $130 for a room that was so disgusting it made me sick to my stomach. The room was so dirty and had a bad stitch. Walls were dirty the curtains were stained yellow everything was so old and falling apart. It was the worse motel experience I have ever had. I can't believe this place is still open for business. Total rip off I don't see how they can charge what they do. And they asked for a $40 deposit. It was so bad I packed up in the middle of the night and left.
It was okay but house keeping is lacking. The toilet had dried stains on it. And the shower door didn't close all the way. The bed was way to soft but otherwise clean enough. It was worth the price and I would go back but think I will spend another $25 to get a better place.
I was so happy when this one opened up its so close to home. Hands down better than Dutch. I've NEVER rolled away from the drive through unhappy, with the wrong drink, or without a smile. I've always gotten stellar service from every Stagg member. Hi
