Starbucks - Coffee shop in Gastonia - 420 Cox Rd, USA

Usually a busy place as it's right by the Gastonia exit. The employees are working hard to provide good customer service. Good staff, Good location!

The lady who took our order was polite to a different degree than I’ve ever experienced anywhere in customer service. We forgot to order our drink at the speaker and she recovered so smoothly and took our order immediately. We are passing through on a road trip but this star bucks is the one to go to hands down.

Terrible experience. Placed a drink order inside and proceeded to wait 20 minutes for 1 drink (that I ultimately didn't get). There were not very many patrons in the store so didn't expect it to take longer than usual. The 2 people who had ordered ahead of me were still waiting for drinks as well. It appeared there were 3 people total making drinks and 1 cashier. Unable to wait any longer as I was on a schedule, I asked for my drink to be refunded so I could leave. I was told by the cashier there were 2 drinks ahead of me if I still wanted to wait. I needed to leave at this point so just got my refund. I asked the staff at the cash register (it was 2 team members and presumably the manager) if in the future, they could please inform patrons when ordering that there is an extended wait time because not everyone has 20+ minutes to wait for their drink or cares enough to wait that long. In response, I was told that mobile orders come in and delay in-store customers. That a 7 drink mobile order was the cause of delay for all of us in-store. Instead of apologizing for the long waits, the staff seemed annoyed that I even said anything. While I understand the mobile order concept, I feel it is good customer service to advise your in-store customers of extended waits due to heavy mobile order volume. I would have liked to known this before I paid and waited so long because I wouldn't have ever ordered. Also, I work in customer service and am well aware of staffing struggles these days. However, if a business does not have adequate staff to run the drive-thru, in-store, and mobile orders simultaneously -- then maybe said business should re-evaluate and stop taking mobile orders for that day.

My daughter LOVES loves her some Starbucks drinks. She likes to try the secret flavors from Tiktok and they accommodate her every time even if they need to look at the video to see the ingredients. Well this one was called The Barbie..... Something or another. It was one of the Barbie promo drinks... Delicious. Cox Rd. In Gastonia, NC Is great. I'm also excited to have them join us while serving the community through our nonprofit. Awesome store

I’ve been to this location several times. No sense of urgency at all. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I get being short staffed but there are 6 people working actively and there are 8 people waiting for drinks for at least 15 mins in the dining room. If I didn’t have a gift card and already paid I would leave. Their drive thru is even worse. On a positive note their staff is pretty good. With the exception today of the manager talking out loud to the staff about an employee who obviously is sick. No one’s business.

This was the worst Starbucks I've ever walked into. After I bypassed the line that was almost out of the parking lot, I went inside only to see the most disgusting store. Everything was dirty. The bathrooms had no tissue, but lots of tissue on the floor, as well as straw papers in the sink. The service counters had drinks spilled and crumbs, and the pickup area was filthy. Behind the counter was even worse. There was trash on the floor in the prep area, lots of spills, and opened boxes just laying around. Instead of running the risk of getting an unsanitary drink, I asked for a refund and left. And I've never walked away from a cup of coffee.

I always try to give this location the benefit of the doubt, but it’s disappointing every time. Usually wait at least 30 minutes in the drive thru. Placed a mobile order the most recent visit and waited 45 minutes just for the hot drink to be cold. No welcome or friendliness from the employees either. Didn’t offer or give straws for the iced coffees. Overall just really disappointing.

Usually the best all around service in town, but this time one of the lattes didn't have any actual coffee in it, just milk, flavoring and foam. But they did fix it and make it right, quickly.
