Starbucks - Coffee shop in Bradenton - 5485 University Pkwy, USA

Not sure where the upgrades/ improvements are that everyone waited so long for. Inside is TINY and service is painfully slow due to understaffing. This location needs to be moving and shaking to handle this level of traffic. Do better Starbucks.

If I didn't have to give one star I wouldn't. My daughter and I went the other morning to wait 40 mins (went through 2 rushes) for our coffee. Asked about our order and was told it was next in line as we watched everyone come and go through the first rush to wait through the next to end up with the coffee not even made correctly. Never got an apology for waiting nothing. Will not go back to that location.

There’s plenty of outdoor seating here but indoor is more limited. The largest table is in the middle of the ordering area, which doesn’t seem great, and there is a small back room.

Main Question: Is it worth the money? Not at this Starbucks and not based off this visit. Service: The gentleman took my order, he was very nice but I'm not quite sure if he was under the influence of something or not. I suspect he was under the influence of something or not paying attention otherwise I don't have a reasonable explanation for what happened next. They were busy but, I was the only one at the counter with nobody behind me. When he took my order, about 5 minutes later he handed me a vente black coffee. My order was for an iced gingerbread latte. We exchanged words and when he realized he gave the wrong order, I handed the black coffee back to him and instead of dumping the coffee first and then throwing away the cup, he threw the entire thing in the garbage. I found this odd since normally the employees dump the coffee first prior to throwing away the cup, for obvious reasons. I then waited about 20 minutes for my drink, at which time they became slammed, and was handed a just less than room temperature "hot", what I presume was a gingerbread latte. The barista was nice and did ask if I wanted it remade but they were so busy, I told her I would just live with it. So this goes back to the gentleman that placed the order. Not only was I the only person in line with nobody behind me, was handed the wrong drink entirely by this same person but he also entered the order in wrong. {Speechless at this moment} It's not the first time, at this Starbucks, the order has been messed up. Taste: Temperature and incorrect drink aside, it was not bad. I will probably order that again at a different Starbucks. Should I go here? I will answer this question with a question. Do you like to gamble? If yes, go here and get your coffee. If not, then go to another Starbucks.

Holy slow, this has been one of the worst locations ever since the remodel. I pulled up at 5:23 ( thats when i noted time so i was there sooner actually) and finally left without getting my stuff At 5:37. Had 3 cars instead of in front of me still at that point and like 4 ppl already left that were behind me .there is just no reason for it. I get it takes a lot to make the drinks but if somebody's waiting on food you should probably have them parked and have somebody run this stuff out instead of holding up the line. For as long as that was, I probably would have been in it for at least 20 minutes. If Chick-fil-A can move cars then I think Starbucks can too. The one on Tuttle does not have that problem tho I'm sure location plays a factor. Employees always nice etc but their lines in drive thru need alot of work because this is becoming a location to avoid just for the fact you will be waiting a long long long time and not moving..just idling...basically turn off your car and take a nap wait..

Visited the renovated store and it's beautiful inside, though even more limited on inside seating. They do offer additional seating outside, and there's a covering now.

Unless someone specifies that they want a coffee iced then let's assume that it should be hot. Waited inside for 15 minutes for a single sandwich. Don't go here if you are in a hurry.
