Starbucks - Coffee shop in Blacksburg - 880 University City Blvd, USA

They haven’t cleaned the place since their reopening in August 3.5 months ago!!! Tables (indoor and outdoor) floors, countertops everything is DIRTY!! Not to mention the bathroom! Plus they are not staffed enough for the orders (in store, mobile and drive thru). Starbucks used to be upscale but those days are long gone. The endlessly raising prices are the only thing « upscale »

I placed a mobile order and went through drive thru to pick it up. They gave my order to the person infront of me and it was returned because it wasn’t their order. The lady literally put it done on the counter and they gave the same one to me. Instead of making me a new one. I saw the whole thing and pointed it out. They blatantly denied it and said they made new one for me. Bunch of liars .very unhygienic. With everything going around they need to be more ethical and hygienic than that. Very disappointed

This place is madness. I know they just had a remodel done, but it’s very poorly space planned, and they aren’t set up to handle the maddening amount of mobile orders they receive. I’m not a Starbucks fan to begin with, but I had an appointment nearby and thought I’d give it another try. The servers were nice enough, even though they got my order wrong. Needless to say, I have tried many times to see what all the fuss is about with the Starbucks empire… but I won’t be going to another Starbucks. Locally owned and operated coffee shops is where it’s at.

Great place to hang out or grab something to go - however, if you're going to use the drive thru, it can get pretty busy. It's really just a testament to how nice it is here!

The store’s location is right across Kroger at the University city boulevard. The place is good for reading books studying and hanging out. The crew was excellent and ver friendly. The tables were clean.

Normally when I come here they always get my order right. but today people who where working they just didn’t make it correctly. I asked them to make it again and the second time it was worse and there was only two girls working. There’s usually more than two people working.

Did Drive thru Saturday March 4 and mobile order Sunday March 5, both times 6-630am. Had the same staff member serve me and both times I came away with the best of opinions possible about a server and a facility. Kind. Courteous. Friendly. This was especially notable this Sunday morning as I did the mobile order, went inside to pick up instead of drive through, and managed to spill a venti coffee all over the counter, floor, and myself. What I said before held, the server was kind, courteous, and friendly, replaced the drink, got the mess I created handled, and just kept getting the job done with a incredibly positive attitude. I visit a lot of Starbucks in my travels. Many not memorable in service. This Starbucks I will not forget and look forward to visiting again (but I'll try not to make a big mess next time).

All smiles and willing service. |• Went to Starbucks and as the order was being placed it was as if someone jumped out from behind ordering interface menu/intercom: " HEY! BeV!" It was a clear indication and confirmation of a truly customer service focused culture, work ethic and environment. Thanks so much Alex for your service. And thank you Starbucks for soliciting and retaining the most fitting talent for the trade. Because it getting worst that employers are hiring and retaining the wrong personalities just simply due to the hiring and retention difficulties managers face. Because they don't realize when they get discouraged and lazy with the hiring it effect the regular customers and their experience and therefor that can reflect upon service quality and the bottom line.
