Starbucks - Coffee shop in Wausau - 306 S 17th Ave, USA

The manager that was working was extremely rude. I asked how much longer it would be for my mobile order and she said if I would get it with 4 shots instead of 5 it would be 30 Seconds faster. COOL. I bet it would be. Like who says that. I knew I was coming in on a Saturday so I placed my mobile order 5 minutes before I even left my house. It was a 10min drive and I used the lobby option as to not clog the drive thru. Seems like they didn’t care about mobile orders at all and I waited 15 more minutes inside. I haven’t been back to this location since and don’t plan on it.

I ordered a white chocolate mocha frappuccino blended beverage and receive the creme version TWICE, the 3rd time the workers tried to make the correct drink, I'm pretty sure mocha was just added into the already made creme drink because I could taste all the creme and the cool whip on top was mostly melted, but I didn't have time to wait again because I had to go back to work.

To the rude barista at the window in the brown sweater today…. Why ask if I want 50% off a drink and then be rude when I misunderstand? Everyone wants the 50% off, save the step of confusing people and then giving a dirty look and apply it? You’re misery is blantent and not necessary.

Slowest Starbucks in the World. These people move so slow. Literally sat and waiting (and watched for 20 minutes) while they "made" my drinks. Don't go here unless you have an afternoon to waste. Also, the drinks were horrible. Worst drinks I have ever had. That said, while the employees were being super casual, not your typical active baristas, I overheard one of them saying that the District Manager refuses to shut off mobile orders even though there are only two seasoned people and one new guy in the store. Bottom line the DM needs to do more. Needs to train their employees better, give them more incentives to do their job in a fast and efficient manner and also needs to listen to their employees concerns. Not only are the customers having a bad experience but so are the employees. The turnover and speed may be a symptom of the poor leadership.

My usually starbucks when I'm in the area. Parking is a bit hard to find and the drive thru is usually backed up at peak times. Staff is usually friendly even when it's chaotic. Bathroom is clean. Never had an issue with mobile order, drive thru, or walk up service.

Ever since the remodel the seating situation is terrible. If you usually go to starbucks to enjoy a drink and work or do school work, choose a different location. They only have tiny tables, which barely fits my laptop and drink. The chairs look comfortable but aren't. The only comfortable seating is the booth along the wall. But again there is no room to work. Plus, if that seating is full your out of luck. This is an okay location for a quick stop in or drive-thru. Otherwise the Rib Mountain or Rothschild locations are MUCH better!

Ordered 3 drinks. Received one right away and waited over 20 minutes for the other 2 and finally went and cancelled them. Then when I told the staff member that we were waiting for over 20 minutes she rolled her eyes and said it was probably more like 10. This same staff member clearly had a bad attitude the entire time we were there. She said our order was stuck behind mobile orders but we got one drink and both food items so I don’t believe it.

I don't review big chains like Starbucks unless something really sticks out. This Starbucks made our day, yes they were quick, yes it was good, but one of our drinks had a beautiful message, well I guess brewtifull! They wrote have a brewtifull day with a big smile. On a second day of 5+ hours of driving that was a big lift. Thank you Starbucks crew! I had avoided Starbucks for their stances on some racial issues, but this shows some pure compassion and kindness
