Starbucks - Coffee shop in Charlottesville - 2040 Abbey Rd, USA

Traveling through at the kitchen coffee staff was amazing restaurants clean.

Avoid this place at all cost. There were theee vehicles from the window back. I have literally waited over 30 minutes for my drink. If there weren’t 5 people just standing around maybe I wouldn’t be so pissed. I’ve been sitting at the window now for 8 minutes and still no drink. They messed up the order. I am now late for work and should have had enough time to actually be early. Do better Starbucks!!!

I go to Starbucks everyday, so I'm at Starbucks fanatic. I understand that I'm also not the only one that goes here as well. My issue is this particular Starbucks on pantops in Charlottesville always takes me 30 minutes to get my drinks. All the other Starbucks I wait maximum 10 minutes and that's on a bad day. I understand that you guys make your coffee fresh and I respect it, but if your baristas can't move fast enough either you need to hire a new ones or more.

Ridiculously slow no matter when you stop by. After avoiding this Starbucks for a year or so I decided to try it again today, but wish I hadnt. Barista was rude and the store was filthy dirty.. sticky floor, overflowing trash, etc. Out of various items, including the cup sleeves. Waited 20 minutes for a single simple drink. Go across town to the other Starbucks for a better experience!

No sign at the drive thru saying they don’t open until 9am. Menu sign is on as if they are open but no one answers so we were all pulling around. When I pulled around at 8:58, was told they don’t open til 9 and to get back in the drive thru line as they refuse to take orders at window. Didn’t open the doors until 9:05 then acted like they were doing us all a big favor to take our orders. Got my drink quickly but took them 10 minutes of ignoring me to get my muffin that wasn’t even being heated up. Seems like no one cares about customer service.

I ordered 2 coffee travelers by phone to save some time because I knew those take longer to prepare, compared to the other single cup coffees. However, when I got to the store and tried to pay for it, the staff did not know how to put in the order in the system. She asked 3 other workers and "phone a friend" also, but was not able to find it still. It took them 10+ minutes to find the button for coffee travelers, which defeats the purpose of putting the order in early. During the whole 10+ minutes and when they finally gave our order, staff did not even apologies or worry for their lack of service and professionalism. I understand they update/change the system. However, I expect the HQ to train/update their staff to be fully aware of what that change is. This was a very disappointing experience.

I didn't go inside!! Spent 25 minutes in the drive through line. Sure! I had the option to leave. But, I wanted the eggs & gruyere cheese bites. If you're in a hurry I recommend going inside. Albeit parking is extremely limited the food is worth it.

Multiple people with online orders were told to pull around the drive thru for their orders. We did so. Then they tell us we actually need to get back in the drive thru line and wait for the window. Ridiculous. There were 2 workers doing inventory at peak morning hours. Seems like they need to hire new employees due to these lazy ones. All we had was 2 black coffees. :)
