Star Station Test & Repair - Smog inspection station in Manteca - 656 Industrial Park Dr, USA

Great guy my husband and I have taken our cars to this guy for many years, since he was at the other location in Manteca. We have never had a problem with him. He has always been very professional and polite. We will be taking our truck to do the smog check pretty soon.

I had a great experience at this smog station. The tech did a visual inspection of my vehicle and was very honest by letting me know it would fail because of a few minor issues. I appreciated him giving me the advice I needed and not just moving forward with the test, wasting time. I will definitely be back and recommending this smog station.

Had to wait 15 min after their open time to even see the shop open, he saw my car, immediately said he couldn’t do smog because “its too low” without even trying and claimed that no one would do a smog on my car. Went to Freedom Smog and had a smooth experience, they had no excuses.

Great experience. Fast, friendly, and very helpful. Will recommend and use again. Took my Chevy Silverado there for first time having to star smog it. Will continue to use them.

This place is horrible. I went because it was convent and the guy failed me for several reason. Even though I passed last year and nothing's changed. My car has ALL STREET LEGAL MODIFICATIONS. They came from the dealer ship this way. Then he left my car on for 30 mins and killed the battery. So he couldn't complete the run threw due to dead batter, that he caused. And still charged me! The OWNER was rude and in helpful. Unwilling to even attempt to verify the car was St. legal & would pass no problem. (Which is a simple phone call verifying numbers on stickers to CA smog requirements.) I COULD GOOGLE THEM MYSELF! Do not recommend this place.

In and out fast. Been coming here for smog since we moved to this town and it's always a good experience. Average charge for smog (60$) . Go during the weekdays early. They are open 9-5.

I had a great experience at this shop. The staff was courteous, professional, thorough, and proficient. They ran all of the necessary testing and issued me with the paperwork that I needed to get the title transferred on my vehicle.

I've had 2 of my cars smogged here it was quick and easy. Getting ready to take a 3rd vehicle. Glad this place is here. 3rd car done. Quick n easy.
