Star Motel - Motel in Ocala - 814 S Pine Ave, USA

My friend lives here and it's ok. But for 400 a week, you would think you could have someone over to take a shower instead of them having to pay an extra 10 bucks to do so!! Crazy right??? It is what it is!! Rooms are pretty clean though!

Room was amazing. of course it's an older structure. That is a given. But I was impressed that the everything that matters is top notch. Thr shower was clean and the hot water was perfectly heated and the pressure is great too. The staff are always friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Of all the older ones along Ocala's stretch of HWY 301/441 This is the most comfortable perfectly functional of all the ones that I have been able to experience myself. Never even thought about an insect of any sort because I never saw any type of crawly the whole weekend I was a guest there. 👍👍👌

The people who own it will try to jack up the prices once you get there. I was quoted $50/day when I called to ask about the rates but when I got there the old man told me $80/day and 180 for two days. The math doesn’t even add up

We ordered on line and our order was ready when we got there and it was all as ordered. The store was busy but clean. They give away coffee grounds to use in your potted plants. The restrooms were very clean.

This motel has been around Ocala sense the horse-drawn buggy days.. It boasts AC units and Color Television. . some of the rooms even come with Beds! .. . ok.. Jokes aside.. Never stayed here, but attended a party in one of the rooms a while back.. Place does look old as hell, but everyone mostly kept to themselves.
