Star Motel - Motel in Baltimore - 9619 Pulaski Hwy, USA

Is it pretty bad motel there’s holes in the world so many holes in the wall and there was like dogs on the McQuain for the shower. It was so bad. The shower had dirty towels on the floor. It said it was a two bed with one clean bed, it was so bad it smelled.

Rooms have holes in walls, and ceilings. My friend just got a room here, to enter the room with cockroaches (& other misc. bugs), greeting her. The mirrors & walls, main room & bathroom both, had graffiti throughout. Paint was chipped, or something, maybe just areas of random sizes & shapes, for no reason, weren't painted. Overall horrible.

Stayed there last night (2/4/2022) room 12, absolutely disgusting. If it hadn’t been 11pm I would have left. Bed looked like it was slept in, no towels for bathroom, TV didn’t work. Holes in the walls. Cigarette burns in the quilt. I didn’t think it was possible for a motel room to be so decrepit for $65. The first room I looked at (room 6) was worse. Duct tape in place of windows?? Seriously? If I could give it -5 stars I would.

Good place to get a room I been here since Nov 8. No breakfast but there are 2 places not too far to get a good breakfast if you want one. No phones in the rooms even though it says it on the sign remember this post if you go take your phone you may need to call for food there they have different places that delivers food for residents and those who only need a day or 2.

I mean you pay for what ya get these days ... At $70 per night ya can’t really expect too much ... Rooms could use some updating, interior is dingy, discolored and smoke stained but it works I guess, in a pinch. Direct Tv is available, they do have dorm style mini refrigerators available in the room.... Bathroom, well it’s there, shower wasn’t horrible, I strongly recommend shower shoes unless you want pregnant feet etc ...

I liked this motel very much. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. A no frills stay at a great price. If I am in this area I will stay here again. For me my main concern is cleanliness, and this place met my requirement.

Room was spotless when we arrived. It us located close to a royal farms if you would need anything. One thing to note is the tv is on an extending wall mount so one could sit in the comfortable chairs and enjoy some tv almost anywhere in the room. Also the walk in shower is quite large

UPDATE: I was a constant regular here until about a week ago. While i was asleep someone slipped into my room and stole all my money and some personal items. I stay by myself and never leave the door unlocked. They use regular outdated keys versus the card keys, and i truly beleive either a previous customer left with a copy or easily made a copy of the key, or someone with access to the office keys came in my room. When i woke up and told the lady about the issue and asked to see the security footage she was very helpful BUT could not do it herself..she called the owner with access to security footage and they basically gave me the run around until Wednesday by which time i finally meet with him only for him to say that it tapes over old footage after 48 hrs, and that they've had other complains like this. He also said that "even if i see someone going in my room the police won't b able to identify him". Which i already knew chances of the culprit being identified or me getting my things back are low but my main concern was to prove that it happened and hopefully inspire some change so that out doesn't happen again or to someone else. But i guess that's not happening. I also will note that in my despair i forgot to leave the room key and when i returned to give it back i noticed people staying in that room. Me being decent i just gave the key back but if i was a bad person i could easily have just busted in and robbed the new unsuspecting customers. Proving my point.... I was shocked that by being such i good customer they unfortunately weren't of more help.. I stayed all the time..always paid for room on time always was nice and always cleaned my own room b4 checking out..I have been having a hard time sleeping ever since, what if i was raped or held at gun point..or what if i woke up and spooked the robber, he could have shot me or anything... OLD REVIEW: (i had rated 4 stars) I love this place.. Considering my budget this is definitely one of the nicer motels in the area. The building is a older building ..but It's clean, I've been here for 3 months and have never seen any type of stain or bug or have had any issues...It's very low key and quiet here, and the staff is very nice..they also have direct tv 😊... And to the comment below me from richard, umm if u want to stay at the Hilton that's fine but dont go to a motel for 65 a night and be mad when u dont walk into a 150$ per night type of room lol... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR COMMON SENSE.. AND to think you will get a room like the hilton for 65 dollars at a motel "YOU MUST BE ON SOME HALLUCINOGENS" as you you would say..
