Rooms are dirty, staff is rude and unaccommodating. We originally booked online and when we arrived they wouldn't honor the online booking price, ended up paying $14 a night more than the online price. We stayed because my co-workers were staying there already and it made it convenient.
The lady at the front desk was very rude. I worked late and and I called them at 10 am to notify them that I was going to be late but I was going to stay another night and she said it would be $25 late fee to get my stuff out of the room. I was going to pay for another night but she said if I wanted my stuff it was either pay $25 or pay for another night.
Starlight hands down made our trip to Charleston the best ever. I honestly had more fun here than any 5 ⭐️ resort I’ve stayed at. Rooms are great and fit the mid century atomic vibe. They have a bar upstairs that nearly every major metro city wishes they could recreate. At no point did we feel unsafe during our stay, the onsite security were super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The saltwater pool was always clean and above standard. Huge thank you to Hank, Ricky, & Payton those guys do a spectacular job running this place. We will be staying here anytime we visit.

The owners are super awesome and really good in getting things you need. The rooms are getting upgraded slowly but the ones that are completely done are so beautiful and relaxing. Plenty of cámaras so you can feel safe about tools in the beds of trucks. Last but not least they have a mini basket in the bathrooms with everything you need to shave and get all cleaned up for the next day. I love staying here.

Cleaning lady was on her phone the whole time while cleaning the rooms and not on headphones. I guess that explains the uncleanliness…
It's a decent spot for a good price but room service got sticky hands 👀 got the room for 2 days woke up to go get breakfast came back an my ps4 remote was gone when asked if they found a ps4 controller they said no. But they took all my charges plugged in to my ps4 an USB outlets.
Thier security cams are hooked up and are viewed live by the sheriff's dept however should they miss something the manager won't hesitate to call them for the slightest thing.

Best Birria tacos I've had. Reasonably priced. 4 Birria tacos with consume & salsa for $13. Their salsa Verde is amazing. You can call in an order for faster service. Inside seating is less than 20. I can't wait to try more of their food. Very friend
great place to spend time in the cool, dark bar. lots of old building ambience. enjoyed a beer and they brought the chips n salsa. had tacos (very good) and slowly drank the second beer. they were not busy, so they let me take my time. great hospital
