Star Inn Biloxi - Motel in Biloxi - 1716 Beach Blvd, USA

This motel was better than what I expected based on the price. While it is not up there in the quality range of the big name motels/hotels it provided adequate accommodations. The room was clean, smoke free as requested and every aspect worked well. The check in and check out processes were very smooth.

Best part is the location and the beds sheets are super comfortable. Oh and the ac is awesome. This is one of those where you get what you pay for. The phone didn't work, the cord was even out of it. The rooms smell really bad and if you need something like towels, forget it. They usually have to be folded first bc nothing is done. A family owns this business and I've been twice with laundry issues. So I gave it a 2nd shot. Not any better. Breakfast is a joke and they put a garbage bag over the cereal dispensers. They have places for juice but surprise it was empty. The milk is in a gallon (leaked everywhere) in a fridge. Learned my lesson. The location is really the only reason we went here. If you need acceptable and cheap, it's not the worst. Spend another $29 to $30 and go up the road! Oh and there is a $20 fee at check-in btw.

I wouldn't have put any star if it would let me post this. Our carbon monoxide detector went off while we were sleeping at 11pm. We called up front and I push the off button on it. It went off again and the guy come down and pulled the battery out. He said it was the condensation from ac. And also accused us of smoking in the room. We never smoked in there cause fine was $150. I told him we were leaving and wanted a refund or another room. They did nothing. If it was a carbon monoxide detector if we just ignored it and went to sleep I don't think I would be writing this message. Cops were called by me. The ppl there still did nothing. It was room 217. There were no other rooms in that area available so we settle on this nasty place. I do not recommend anyone stay there. Rooms stunk so bad. We found a few roaches. Beds so wore out. The fridge freezer was froze solid. If we could have seen the room first I would have never stayed there. For some reason we pd for our room with card and he wanted the deposit in cash. They wouldn't even give our deposit back. This place I don't not recommend at all.

The pool was completely green and the workers told us it was fine to swim in. I don't think so! In our room, there was an empty coke can next to the bed, so they obviously didn't clean it well, if at all. In the morning, I could see bugs crawling in thru the cracks of the door, because it had cracks all around the door. I pre paid for 2 nights but left after 1, they refused to give me a refund for the second night. It was so bad, we left anyway and went to Holiday Inn. You could smell drugs being smoked by the people next door to our room. Don't ever go to this place!!

0 stars. They could definitely clean better and use something to make the rooms smell fresh. The dust on the baseboards were DISGUSTING. The room REAKED of must. Not to mention, I told them what room I needed a key to and they didn’t even ask for any form of identity or a name- safety hazard.

I gotten a room for the prime location, however I would never go there again! I had gotten a room with 2 beds. Both were old, lumpy, spring mattress, with one of the beds having a severe dip in the center. I woke up with extreme backpain! The pool needs some definite repairs. The ladder on the deep side, had no steps, and only 1 jet in the whole pool worked.What made it worse, it is supposed to be a saltwater pool. I have severe reactions to chlorine. I counted 12 chlorine tablets in the pool. That's overkill, even for a chlorine pool.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!! Stinks so bad there you can't stand to be in the room for even a few seconds!! There is mold everywhere and water damage! You can feel the moisture in the air! The table was warped from so much moisture in the room. This place is disgusting and they refuse to refund any money. We walked in and walked right back out. Ask to see another room and it was even worsr. I had to rent at another hotel and never received a refund from this dump. This place is so darn disgusting!! DO NOT RENT A ROOM HERE!! You will probably be sick when you leave and may even take home some bugs also!! Staff was rude!! And everything in the room was broken. Holes in the bathtub. Toilet was wobbly. Refrigerator was dirty and was not cold at all. Air conditioner was full of mold as there was mold growing in multiple spots in the room. Comforter had multiple stains of multiple colors. I did not dare touch it to lift it to see the sheets underneath!! I honestly feel this place should be condemned!! Like no joke!! It stunk so bad you felt it in your chest!! This place is a health hazard and needs to be forced to shut down!! And I paid to be able to cancel and they still refused to give me any of my money back!! They are scammers also!! DO NOT RENT A ROOM HERE!!! YOU WILL BECOME ILL FROM STAYING HERE!! AND THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!!! MOST DISGUSTING PLACE EVER!!!!

If I could put ZERO stars I would. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. If I seen this room before paying these people they would have never got my money. First off I booked thru Expedia and choose the pay at property method, well check in is at 4. Red flag #1 The lady at front desk tried to charge my card at 11 am and called me said my card was no good and I told her she shouldn’t have did that I was paying there , she said okay she would hold my room til I got there (mind you she canceled my booking on Expedia). I paid 330 for 3 nights in cash and a 20$ deposit. The front is nice and clean and then we went in the room to put our things and it smelled so bad and already looks dirty so we started looking around the room bc we are about to lay ours heads here. As soon as I seen MOLD in the room I was really mad as I am allergic to certain molds so I took pictures of the nasty room I went to the front and told them I will not be staying here and they needed to give me my money back, first thing that comes out the lady mouth is that I had to cancel on expedia and I was quick to tell her she canceled my booking online and I just paid her cash. They got very hostile like they didn’t wanna give my money back and I told her the room is nasty as hell and I had pictures of everything. They give me TWO nights back worth of my money when I should have l got it all back because this place is down right WRONG AND DISGUSTING.
