My fiance stopped here after going to some medical appointments in town. We aren't from the area but this place made us fee like we were. Everything is made cook to order. Barb our waitress was truly amazing. The vibe of the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. We felt very comfortable here. The place is small unfortunately but that literally didnt interfere with out experience. Highly recommend if you want some quick and easy home style brunch.
Excellent mom n' pop style diner. I had the Western omelet with a pancake and orange juice. Cash only (atm across the street at the gas station)
Loved everything about it. It’s quite small, but that’s a big part of its charm. I felt like I was at home. The breakfast was outstanding, and the service was great. Clearly this place is meant mostly for locals, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s their community, and that’s their base. I wouldn’t have guessed that, though. We felt like we fit right in. Appreciated how hard everyone was working and respected the fact that in a small place on a Sunday morning, it’s not classy to occupy a table for two hours and act like the world is at your service. Act like a local with good manners, and you’ll be treated like one. I love the place. Can’t wait to go back someday. I’d go out of my way to do so.
We found Star Diner on a Google search. Arriving, we noticed there was no sign other than "Open", and a sign on the door that said, "cash only". We also noticed that there was a disproportionate number of cars present for the size of the restaurant. We wondered if it operated like the Tardis, bigger on the inside than the outside. Attempting to enter, we waited as a local exited, well versed in the rule of "close the door behind you". (We later witnessed the correction of the non-native who did not know this rule.) The place was packed, but a table opened up almost immediately and we were able to be seated. Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious! The menu consists of mostly breakfast foods and some sandwiches, including hamburgers.
A real good place for breakfast, service is quick and friendly. I've started going every other Saturday before work and I'm in a good mood for the rest of the day. Downside is that it's cash only but it's worth it.
Stopped on the way up to Marblehead based on reviews. Perfect little diner with fantastic diner food. Went with the country fried steak . Very fast service
You could tell they only want a certain customer in there And my husband and myself really felt out of place.. And I used to go there all the time and the portions were huge... I got 12 dollar biscuits and gravy (and there is a 's' in biscuits on the menu-- but also paying 12 for a plate you expect more then 1 biscuit) And I got one biscuit cut in half.. With barely any gravy at all. And to poot it was all cold.. The biscuit was hard dry and cold.. I will never eat here again Nor would I ever recommend.

The circumstance is super clean and the server are very friendly. I ordered sushi sashimi combo today. The sushi chefs are very skilled. The food they make is very creative and the taste is also great.
My late night go-to when I'm in town. Play pool, dance, or sit on a bar stool & enjoy drinks. It's a comfortable, mostly locals bar. If you have drama, head south to the other side of the railroad tracks.
You can always count on Arbyâs for great tasting food at a great price with a friendly staff. We were looking for a quick bite and weâre not disappointed. Bonnie was very friendly and quick to get our order just right. The Bacon Beef and Cheddar
