Stanton Optical - Optometrist in Pensacola - 7000 N Davis Hwy unit a, USA

I was on vacation and lost my glasses before a 10 hour drive home. This location was open on a Sunday and offers eye exams and same day lenses on Sundays! The optometrist saw me remotely and it was a quick and painless exam. Rossmery and another associate (I wish I had her name, she had a name tag but I couldn't read anything unless it was pressed against my face and it's not that type of business) were so nice. They were able to complete my exam, make my new glasses and get me on the road in about 2 hours and for $59 total. They are angels and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. I could not have had a better experience!

Tried to call twice to make an appointment. I called the first time and asked if my insurance was accepted. He kept speeding right past my question telling me that they wouldn’t know if it was accepted until I drove to the store and gave them my insurance card but not to worry because if it wasn’t then they would just charge me $70. I called the second time hoping to see if they accepted my insurance however I received the same answer. Any other drs office can tell you if they accept your insurance. It was a cut and dry question but instead I was given a sales pitch. This office is 30 minutes from me. I’m not driving 30 minutes hoping that my insurance is accepted and then if not to just pay the amount. I wish the customer service was better & that I could’ve spoken to someone in the store versus a call center.

Roxana was so amazing and a huge help! She helped me very quickly get set up with new contact lenses, two new pairs of glasses, and made sure they fit perfectly! She even adjusted a pair of glasses from elsewhere that nobody else was able to get right, now they fit perfectly. Excellent customer service!

I order contacts which was only given the right eye the wrong ones at that the strength on my paper I was given for contacts is not what I was given by far I haven't even been able to wear them because I can't see out of them so I called and I was told that was what was in the computer so how is that one thing is in your computer and another total different prescription is on the paper yall printed out for me which is 3.75 in both eyes and I was given 3.00 doesn't work can't see told yall before I left something was not right I will be going to mobile for now on this is the 2nd time I had troubles with this store since the workers in there now is running it my sister was even there with me when I told the lady something wasn't right I could not see and I was told it's because there color contacts I have worn color contacts for 3 years and never had a minutes of trouble out of them once I put them in I could see perfectly fine because they were my correct prescription!!!!!! I feel like a refund is needed back are the correct ones order

Jazzy, Roxi, Ant & Rosse are phenomenal! They provided a welcoming environment and with the best advice! So kind people! Would highly recommend! I lost my glasses and they took me in the same day! I walked out an hour later with new contacts! They’re so professional!

If I could give this place a 10 star I would! My family and I had an amazing experience here today on 4/19/24. Our family of 5 was desperately in need of getting our eyes checked out. We walked in and they instantly took us into open arms no problem! They got us in and out in less than 2 hours with 5 of us! The whole staff was amazing, the two young women and men there were so helpful. But one person I really need to shout out is Jasmine (Jazzy), she was an absolute pleasure to work with ! She made our experience so smoothly. Very sweet and funny woman. thank you all so much for taking such good care of us!

I just had to leave a review talking about how lovely and nice everyone was to me here. The first time I came, Roxy helped me and was sooo sweet and lovely, and this time I had Sylvia helping me. They were both so lovely, kind, and reassuring, even when I was worried that I messed up my eye exam! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience, and because of these lovely ladies, I keep coming back.

I can't remember doing a review on google or anywhere ever. I went here a few months back (I'm a Retired/Disabled Veteran) the lady who helped me was wonderful. I got 2 pairs of glasses one for driving (distance) and one for reading. Recently this week I lost my Driving glasses my daily wear one's. I went to Stantons and explained what happened and they treated me wonderfully and the glasses didn't cost me alot either. Thanks for the awesome job. Customer for life!
