Chris is the best!! We have been here for 3 years and Chris is the first person who actually cares about what happens here!! We have been in a rough situation for a long time and he has helped ease the process for my whole family! He is the best part of stage stop resort
So went to visit a friend who is staying here . As I get out of my car this big guy asks me who I’m there 2 see and that they don’t allow company . So my friend who has a baby couldn’t get her items I was delivering due to the manager telling me I couldn’t be on the property . I mean I feel if I’m paying such amount of money who are they to say who can come visit u 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. Legally u are able to have company so i think management should get up to date on the rules he pretends to have
Take a look at the photos and set a Luffy expectation of what fourty dollars will realistically aquire. Now remove 50% of anything that would contribute to a star value and you have the absolutely bare minimum of what is legally liveable in the state of Florida. Do yourself a fav and pick any piece of free furniture on your way in that will drastically add value to the property and your stay.
No bugs so far. So that's good.
Well maintained, clean rooms, and friendly staff, everything in walking distance including Walmart. Would definitely stay again.
Located walking distance to many convenient stores gas stations walmart restaurants and Silver Springs State Park along SilverSprings Blvd. (SR40) Typical cheap motel without obvious drug addicts and night workers on grounds. I did not deal with front desk as I just visited someone I knew who was staying here but I heard management keeps a pretty tight watch on who is on the premises amd they don't allow many visitors or in and out company. Many month to month residents stay here.
My son is staying there after his trailer burns down. It's not a bad place, rooms are good size. The most important thing that I like is the fact that they have nighttime security on patrol.
As we have stayed in many motels in our travels up & down the east coast, this stay was the most enjoyable, the managers & staff made us feel very comfortable & the room was comfy, pat& Richard, room 125/
On check in I was charged a $100 deposit on top of my room rate for my week long stay. On arrival there was an ozone machine left in my room which can cause health issues. I also did not have a trash can for the length of my stay although the "manager" was aware. I spent a week at the stage stop resort and then extended my stay by one night. On the last night I packed up my belongings and left in the morning as scheduled. The hotel failed to return my deposit and when I inquired about it I was informed that because a person who had stayed with me a few nights had a key and accessed the room beyond my departure I would not be getting my deposit back. The manager, Drew, did not cite any damage or loss just that the resort failed to deactivate my key cards and so this person continued to have access to the room. When I mentioned to Drew that the key cards should have been deactivated on my scheduled day of departure as per normal business practice of any other hotel (I have 10 years in the hotel industry), I was told that I shouldn't have had this person there anyway and I should ask her for my deposit. When I advised Drew that what he was doing was unethical and illegal, Drew said what we were doing in the hotel room was illegal and I should "tell them that". Nothing illegal was going on in my hotel room and if the resort thought as much, would they not have raised concern then? This establishment has some serious operating deficiencies and illegal / bad business practices.
