Stage Stop Inn - Motel in Patagonia - 303 McKeown Ave, USA

Great location. Reserved a room facing the street out front, but when we arrived was told all were taken.

This place is such an Amazing Hotel! The service is second to none! Clean rooms, Service is Awesome! The Pool is The Best! Bar and Restaurant are Amazing! Friendly Staff, Wonderful place to stay! Definitely going back! If you're close, you have to Stop in for a Meal and a Wonderful Nights Sleep.

I had the most wonderful experience at the inn in Patagonia, Arizona! The rooms exceeded my expectations -they were comfortable and well-maintained. The location was absolutely stunning; photos truly don't capture its beauty. The laid-back, family-run inn was a true gem. We stumbled upon this haven when our Airbnb's AC malfunctioned during a scorching 100 degrees weather spell. I can't thank them enough for turning a potential disaster into a memorable and enjoyable stay.

On our recent trip to Patagonia, we stayed at the Stage Stop Inn. There are not many hotel options in the area, however, the historic nature of the Stage Stop Inn is worth the stay. It is rustic, keep in mind that it is not a Marriott or Hilton, so do not expect that level of modern. It is clean, well kept and the room was very quiet. We stayed the John Wayne room; it was large, very clean and there was plenty of room. Our only complaint was that the mattress(es) was very firm. Other than that, it was a nice experience. There is not a lot of parking in the front, but there is ample parking in the back. With that said, there is not much traffic in the area. The on-site restaurant stays open until 9 PM and has a good number of selections on the menu.

Reserved ground floor kitchenette - was bumped to the second floor kitchenette. Not a problem. |If you want a kitchenette here, please bring your roll of paper towels. Kitchen has enough plates / cups / utensils for three (3) humans. Great fridge / freezer, micro and convection oven combo, hot plate for sauce pan, sink, dish soap and sponge. Beds are comfy, but could use some upgrading. Linens / bath towels are good. No hair dryer for those needing / wanting to blow dry hair. No iron or ironing board. You are in Patagonia..... not New York City! Front Office / Check in Staff are more than friendly and will do their best to accommodate your needs. Round table with seating for two (2) so you can enjoy in room dining. WI-FI, Direct TV large flat screen TV. Nice closet to store your clothes bags. Double sink bathroom vanity area. Ample parking if not in front of Stage Stop, directly across street. Traveling with pets? Directly across the street is Patagonia Park - wonderful walking area for dogs, MUTT MITT Stations (poop pick up mitts) are amply stocked. Great park! Beautiful Inn, well kept - clean, clean, clean. Pool was being renovated during our September 2022 stay. Again, not a problem for us. Must see Lake Patagonia and walk the cross over bridge. |Must visit Ovens of Patagonia and Gathering Grounds Coffee / Espresso shop.

The rooms were spacious enough ... very comfortable ...the bed was wonderful. The location was perfect for us "birders." The staff was very friendly. Our room was on the first floor just outside of the pool area. It was decorated very nicely. We will definitely visit again the next time. My only complaint would be the associated restaurant. We had dinner there two nights in a row and did not have a good experience either night. Breakfast was wonderful at the Gathering Grounds a couple of doors down - and their lunch was delicious the previous time we visited.

Great cozy little place to stay on our way to Tombstone. Very quiet and clean rooms

Room was comfortable and clean. The courtyard was being refurbished and I'm sure it will be nice when completed. It was centrally located with everything within walking distance. Price was a high for a property of this type, but considering it was the only space in town and it's a small community, we were totally ok with it. We only encountered staff at check in and housekeeping. They were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to see us. ||We were staying here to get some fishing in at Lake Patagonia and would certainly stay again.
