Absolutely fantastic place. Really enjoyed discovering how great the food is. Definitely going back multiple times. I had the Stadium chopped cheese which was everything it needed to be and more. The pizza puff perfectly flakey crust bursting with pepperoni cheesiness. Lastly try the homemade Italian ice. Great way to beat the Wisconsin summers. UPDATE: I went back for the third time and had the Miss Steak. It had a soft roll like a pillow with tangy and rich sauce, gooey cheese and lastly you can definitely taste the quality beef. Soo good!!! I had theThe Donfather. It’s must try. Also had a Chicago dog and The Stadium Dog which is wrapped in bacon.

Holy HECK. I grew up going driving down to Illinois with my dad to satisfy his Portillos craving… but could never get on board with the Italian beef. Reddit had me questioning whether I should give it another shot at Stadium Takeout, and oooooo it was so damn tasty. Ordered the Italian beef (wet) w/ mozzarella and hot giardiniera 🤤 amazing. No notes. I rarely eat meat… and this seems like a place it really seems to get it right!

I’ve finally found a place in Madison that offers fresh hand-breaded boneless chicken in a light and delightfully crispy batter! NOT that frozen stuff other places offer that’s mostly breading. Everything is so good here it’s hard to decide what to eat and I’m always leaving with leftovers and never hungry. The quality is top tier!!!

Great value and delicious good. The menu has lots of variety and the weekly specials are perfect for lunch.

Super tasty American food just like you'd find in Chicago or Philly. Food is made to order which means it's hot. The fries are fantastic. We had a Chicago dog and a Philly cheese steak. The dog beats the quality Portillos in Wisconsin. The Philly could be improved with either more meat or less bun. Did I mention the fries were fantastic. The staff was friendly and chatty. One aspect that took much away from my experience was the state of the restroom, just eeeeww! Glad I used it after I'd finished eating. Please clean it.

Great spot on Monroe Street! Stadium Take Out has all of the game day classics made with high quality, fresh ingredients. Great variety of sandwiches that are easy to customize. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the well known “Donfather.” The Donfather is made with a Stella’s spicy cheese roll, cheese, and juicy Italian beef with au ju sauce… it was delicious. No other words for it!! The Philly cheesesteak was good as well, but the Donfather really stole the show with amazing flavors! The fries have a dangerously good seasoning. We met the owner who was kind, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant itself has several tables, high top seating, and big TV screen. Overall, this is a GREAT spot for a sandwich (even when it’s not game day!) and I’ll definitely be back… really soon!! Highly recommend

Fantastic food! We had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich & sweet & spicy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! The hand cut fries are great & an order is a very decent amount! The boneless wings were also food - Honey Garlic sauce had a little kick. Overall fantastic food & friendly great service! Highly recommended if you are in the area. It has a few seats to eat there- we took our food outside & ate in the park across the street.

Got an Italian beef sandwich and was able to try the Italian ice while I waited. The sandwich was phenomenal. It held up on the drive home, did not get soggy and fall apart. The meat was juicy and thinly sliced. I didn't have to worry about needing to floss immediately after like most Italian beef sandwiches. Now the Italian Ice. I got bubblegum. This was so good I couldn't stop eating it. The Italian ice is smooth and melts in your mouth and the flavor pops bringing you back to your carefree childhood. Even if it starts to melt, it doesn't taste syrupy. The vibe: They are prompt and attentive. They do a great job of simplicity and cleanliness. They have an open kitchen and even the back looks clean.
