Exceptions are everything, if you set yours right, you will enjoy your stay. These small little bungalows are really nice, a little bit of everything you need for a weekend or week. Mattress was very comfortable, I believe they are memory The outside trees that hang in between each row, provide the perfect shade all day long, to sit at there table or swing on the swing . 100 from the boardwalk with Nick's 1 block over for music and drinking

We loved everything about our stay here! Pros: walking distance to the boardwalk and beach, clean rooms, friendly staff, the courtyard was perfect for sitting outside. Overall it was a very quiet motel for being so close to everything. Cons: you have to park in a parking garage 5 blocks away. As of July 2024 the cost per day was 22 dollars to park there. Small bathrooms but wasn’t the end of the world. What I would recommend they do to improve would be keypad door locks.

This was perfect for us. 1 minute walk to the beach. 9 days of great weather. The staff was awesome, gave us all the beach gear we needed. They were very helpful letting us pay a little extra for a late checkout due to our departure being later that night, well worth it.

We had a very good stay at the St. Maurice Beach Inn. The location is perfect, right next door to Margaritaville and right next to the Hollywood boardwalk. We felt safe walking the surrounding area. Police were present wherever we walked.||One thing to be aware of, that has nothing to do with the St. Maurice Beach Inn, is the tip scamming those other businesses in the area get away with. When you are presented with your bill, REVIEW IT! You will see a line for at least an 18% gratuity. If you pay the bill with a credit card, there will be a line to add a gratuity! This even happened in all the bars we were at. A $5 tip for 2 drinks with little alcohol is a rip off.||Anyways, back to the St. Maurice Beach Inn, the staff were excellent! All, were friendly, even the orange cat.||The room was an average size, but the bathroom was small. This is normal for this older motel/inn. But to make up for this, the room had a great refrigerator and microwave. They do have larger rooms. Just make sure to read the description on their website. The pictures on their website were accurate as well.||For the price, it was a perfect choice.||Best of all, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.||We highly recommend this Inn for a stay on the Hollywood Beach.

Great location!! Great staff! Great size rooms!! Quiet,clean and right on the beach!! Chairs and towels provided!! Parking could get a little difficult but they will help!! Follow their instructions do not park in parking lot directly behind we seen several vehicles towed they give you more than adequate advice!! Will be back soon!! Eat at Letub across the street long wait but so worth it!! Wait for a waterside table!!

For the age of the property it’s a descent place to sleep and go. The outdoor courtyard area is nice but we noticed maggots all over the trash cans which really grossed us out. It’s the type of spot you keep your shoes on when even in the room….the pricing is way over priced for what it is, but overall it’s not awful. I accidentally booked the wrong dates but the afternoon/night shift gal there was nice enough to help me change the reservation and not charge for me it. I really appreciated that! Our room was dated but clean, the bed wasn’t the worst we’ve slept on. Cute little kitchenette area. We wish the tv had worked and the Internet but they never worked while we were there for the one night. Margaritaville is right next door, we had to pay to park which was over $45 bucks for the day as this place does not have designated parking, this is something to note if you have a disability or budget to consider. The hotel should consider this on their already high pricing.

Man, I must say this place is awesome! It is small, but big things come in small packages. Very cozy, very clean, and on top of that, an excellent staff! I was a little worried about what to do because our ship came in and our check in time wasn't until later, but the staff allowed me and my son to check in early. I cannot say how much I truly appreciate a simple gesture. If I am ever in Ft. Lauderdale again, I will be giving them my business and recommending this motel to anyone I know that is coming here! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
