This place has the BEST adult fitness classes! Tons of cardio and weight equipment all in your membership, not to mention, there is a pool, sound studio, a computer lab, and so much more. THis place is an underrated gem

I love this park! The playground and restrooms are large and spacious, with the playground having 2 jungle gyms, sandboxes, and swings. There is also a baseball field, a large soccer field and 6 highschool sized basketball courts. I've been going here my whole life and will continue to do so

St. John's Park COULD be a GREAT playground but it is NOT. The reasons? Sloppy maintenance and a lack of attention to detail. Here is why: - soccer goals lack nets - no soccer goals for children- or youth teams - bathrooms locked, you have to go into the bushes. Why are bathrooms LOCKED on a Saturday morning at 10am? - WiFi didn't work. WiFi showed up in list of WiFi networks but we were not able to log on. - running track has narrow corners. Anybody who is a regular runner knows that narrow corners like these will kill your joints - no floodlights + good turf + relatively easy street parking on weekends in the morning
The park is clean and has nice landscaping. It has picnic tables and benches also the chess / checkers tables with chairs. There is a children's play area, a baseball field and baseball ⚾️ courts.
Famous for it's lights after dark handball and basketball games. Great park to watch softball/baseball and work out on the track.
i've been learning to inline skate on the handball courts for almost a year now and I really appreciate the relaxed vibe and the lack of traffic
Breathtaking views of the city. It wasn't too crowded but it was a weekday. I suggest a light lunch in the parc or on the benches along the river to take in the amazing view !
This place is such a hidden gem at night, I accidentally came here after dinner and went for a jog. The view to manhattan was superb and the houses along the river are stunning. Worth a visit
