St. James Hotel - Hotel in Cimarron - 617 S Collison Ave, USA

This is a Wild West Lovers Dream. The history, the people who were here, the hotel itself. Eat here, walk the hallways, look in the rooms, read the stories. It is a step back in time! The food in the restaurant is delicious, the staff is friendly and fun. The courtyard is beautiful! Check it out, so worth the trip wherever you have to come from!

The annex (attached to the hotel) is the clean well maintained motel portion of the St. James Hotel. It has separate rooms for guests with an outside courtyard area. Quiet location. Comfortable facilities. All of these rooms have their own bathroom. High speed Internet. Dish network TV. (No phones or clock radio in the rooms, but there is good cell service in the area.) All of the hotel services are available to the Annex guests.

Didn't stay here, just ate lunch. The burger was a little dry, but the atmosphere was great and the service was good. Really cool to walk through and read the history of the hotel. Definitely worth a drop in!

Food was amazing. Atmosphere great! Family friendly. Love exploring the history. My kids wanted to explore the “haunted” room 18. Sadly, the staff we asked about it didn’t have a clue. Rooms looked inviting. We’d live to come back and stay.

What a cool place to grab a cold drink after hiking in the Canyon. Ordered a beer at the bar and got to talking with the bartender about things to do in the area. She was nice and helpful with some suggestions. I closed out after the second beer and went upstairs to wonder around this haunted building museum. Some real famous names that takes you back to when it was lit by candle in this small mountain town. It is worth stopping in for a meal too, either inside or outside.

Great hotel the rooms are super clean and are also very historic and well preserved. This hotel is from the 1800s and it feels like its brand new. There are no TVs in historic rooms but they do have them in the annex where they have the newer rooms, the WIFI is spotty and slow at the time of my visit. The room I stayed in was great, clean and tidy and was in good shape. Service is great but the location was not the greatest with a limited selection of restaurants. The hotels restaurant is pretty good and would recommend it if you’re staying here but at the time I stayed here in august of 2023 they were not serving breakfast due to a shortage of workers but when I went for dinner they had a good selection of food and I would recommend the new york strip steak. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you like historic buildings and unique hotels.

We were a group of 16. We had the best lunches. Our server was excellent and took really good care of us. We definitely recommend having a meal in their dining room.

Very cool history. Nice place. Kind staff who answer all types of questions. Even if you might not be staying there, it's a worthwhile stop for cimmarron.
