Nice little quiet motel cheapest in town but rooms are fairly nice. The staffs nice and friendly. No complaints
SPEND THE NIGHT IN HELL at the St. Francis Motel. I decided to enjoy a holiday weekend in lovely Edmonds, WA. The St. Francis was advertised as a quiet, quaint motel. Checked in by a charming lady named "Chu" who assured me a quiet stay in Room 22 next to "a little old lady". The lady turned out to be a one-eyed meth addict who kept me up all night. Do yourself a favor & stay at the Econo Lodge next door.
There's an unmarked curb right at the entrance which will bottom your car. Please fix.
The rooms arr nice. The one i had was like my own little studio . or a one bedroom apartment! Has a kitchen. Full size and so full size bathroom! And PLUS the owners are really NICE! Good people's. I would go there again!
I've been here for 9 months (flooded out of our house and waiting for it to be fixed), and Mr. Todd is very wrong. There are no hookers, or drug dealers here. The new owners of almost 2 years have every inch of the property under recorded video surveillance and if some shows up that has not rented a room here the owners come out and run them off. They're is no dropping of stolen cars either. Every car here is registered to a room. For various size and family needs. We've been in 4 different rooms, and NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS BED BUGS .. If you are a druggie, hooker, pimp, wanna hook up with your dealer or just an ass, keep going!! Or go next door to the travel lodge where you are welcomed with open arms.. If you are normal and just need a place to lay your head and rest.. Please come on in and let the wonderful owners help you. The rooms are large and have full sized kitchen (pretty much a one bedroom apartment). In 9 mos I've never seen the police just roll through. Only 2 times I've seen or heard of them being here and that's because the owners called them to remove unsavory people off the property, so the normal people can enjoy their stays. I'd recommend St Francis any day of the week.
Friendly proprietor who is very helpful. Fast internet, apartment size fridge and microwave with parking right outside your room in this single story building. One caveat, though. Turn on both the sink & shower if you want hot water quickly. Other than that, highly recommended for the price.
As advertised, clean, quiet, comfortable. Centrally located to local services. Proprietor is a very nice Gentleman and went out of his way to assist me. He is also very pleasant and always smiling. Niceto be greeted at the end of a long day. Pleasantly surprised!!
We have been here two weeks and previously were staying at shelters and in our car. We have jobs now and the managers are so kind we checked in Christmas eve he gave us a little gift bag from a church near by. He has been understanding and friendly brought everyone a ham and quiche dinner with a salad it was such a blessing finding this place. It's affordable and fair priced only complaint is laundry mat is quite far.
Last weekend I was on the hunt for some excellent bread for a dinner party. Wanting to try a new bakery, I stumbled upon The Cottage. As soon as I stepped in the door I was welcomed by the friendly staff, but even more importantly, I was also welcome
This place was fabulous! The gentleman taking my order was so kind! He recommended the Honduran enchiladas, one word⦠YUM! Not your typical enchiladas, these bad boys were tostadas, topped with mashed potatoes, seasoned ground beef, cabbage, hot sa
