There are few options for lunch on this route, so you're probably stuck eating here. Burgers did not live up to the menu descriptions at all. They probably just need to offer a simpler menu that they can actually deliver. Fries were fine. Nice staff. Pricey for what you get.
We stopped and ate here. It was okay. I had high hopes based on the other reviews. It's your basic diner food. Burgers made from frozen patties, frozen fries, etc. The atmosphere was really nice and the service was good, but the food was just average.
Our room was so nice, but have been recently updated. Nice floors and the bathroom was updated (nice tiled shower). We were in Room #4. They have a nice restaurant attached as well as the bar. We didn't end up eating there, but we did go to the bar and had a couple. The locals were so friendly and we had a great time. The bartender was very nice to the men and the locals, but didn't treat us good at all. She never greeted us at all, just walked up and asked for my daughters ID, no smile, nothing. The rest of the time we were there it was the same, not friendly at all. If it wasn't for the service we got from her I would have given this 5 stars. But, other than that it was great. In the back outside is an area for people to hang out, play games which was very nice and large. We were there on a Thursday night and it wasn't busy but we were told that weekends get very busy there.
Stopped at this place on our way back from lake. Ordered the prime rib dip it came with a long hair on plate! We showed the server and they made me a new sandwich it was good and gave me a bag of cherry chocolates for the trouble. I would definitely eat there again food was good!
Stayed here for a night for my birthday trip to Leavenworth: The room was clean and cozy, but most of all, the service was fantastic. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming. We called and asked how late we were able to check in and they answered immediately, then reassured us that they would give us a text in the case that they were closing for the night around 11pm. Luckily we made it there around 10pm. The owner offered us a ride if we ever needed one. The next morning, there were absolutely no Ubers or Lyfts available - so we took him up on his offer. He drove us 20 minutes into town, free of charge (we left cash in the back seat anyway). The employees at this establishment (the first Bavarian hotel in Leavenworth, ever) are the definition of “good people.” So blessed to have chosen the Squirrel Tree Resort.
I would recommend this spot to anyone. Quiet spot, staff is friendly and not a far drive from Leavenworth. Met the owners ,they were there everyday working their butts off. Vito’s a great guy 10/10 highly recommended any person in the area to stop by.
We dined in the restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon in the middle of October. Our server, Sarah was super friendly and had great energy. We ordered the Valhalla burger with tots and the Natapoc sandwich with onion rings. Burger and tots were really good, sandwich and rings were killer. Highly recommend. Hope to come back to use their outdoor seating area. Thanks Sara/Sarah!
Ate here tonight and last night. Sarah is on top of her game, and the crowd of regulars seemed friendly. Excellent food. Great place to have dinner before driving back home after surveying in the hills around the Winton Compost plant. I'll definitely keep this place in mind whenever passing through in the future

Great place to stay! Short walk to downtown saves on the stress associated with the parking situation in Leavenworth. Nice rooms and the beds were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the snowstorm we experienced while visiting (we had our own sleds, I donâ
A gem at the edge of town, perfect for quiet seclusion while also being very close to shopping, restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They are actually pet friendly (not just pet tolerating). Rooms with pet beds and bowls supplied, dog treats at
