A great place to stay for a Door County weekend.|The room was comfortable with everything we needed.|The lake view is amazing. The sunrise and clouds were gorgeous.|It is perfectly located to get to things we wanted to do like the Cana lighthouse, Cave Point park and it was not far to the Bayside. |The staff was very mid-western friendly and happy to chat. We had breakfast at the little cafe, the day it was open and it was good. The other day we enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby.
We stayed here for a weekend after our wedding and it was perfect! The location can’t get any better, just steps to the beach and they even had beach chairs. There is a great restaurant across the street for dinner, and they have a little coffee shop attached for breakfast. Pretty good coffee too! It’s only about 15 minutes to Baileys Harbor and to Sturgeon bay, but is still a little quiet piece of paradise. The rooms were basic but very clean, and the customer service was top notch. By far our favorite place we’ve stayed in Door County! We will be back!
Overall 5/5. It's reasonable, service was absolutely stellar. Seriously staff were so kind, my wife and I stopped in on a quick mini-moon for a weekend in door county and the staff were fabulous throughout. Little coffee shop right attached that also did some pastries and small plates Thursday and Friday. Food was actually fantastic! But you're right on the lake with a private beach. We had a wonderful time and will be back again! Rooms were tidy and clean!
First time staying in Door County, and this place is probably the only place we will ever stay when we come back. The front desk person knew our names when we walked in to check in, which was really pleasant. The little coffee nook next door is the perfect way to kick off your morning while taking in beach views. The private beach access was SO nice! They had chairs to lounge in and toys for kiddos to play with. There’s a nice little fire pit for those good campfire smores. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff there are so friendly. At night, it was peaceful and quiet. It is the perfect comfortable nook to enjoy a relaxed vacation in beautiful Door County.
Very clean, quiet motel with private beach on Lake Michigan. Reasonable rates for Door County. Bed was comfortable too. Even the landscaping was well tended with beautiful flowers. All employees we encountered were helpful and friendly. We will not hesitate to stay here again!
This is my 2nd year staying here with these new owners and I can’t say enough about them. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. They continue to make lovely updates/improvements to this beautiful waterfront location. I look forward to future stays and seeing their vision unfold.
Nice place to stay. Right on Lake Michigan. Great view. Convenient locate to most of Door county but not super busy. Very nice people, they go out their way to make you comfortable. Cute coffee shop and bar.
The rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly. We are early risers so i would have loved coffee earlier than 7:00 am. Lovely beach. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful gem hidden way. Not very busy but so lovely. White soft sand and so much to explore. The water is clean and gets deeper gradually. Large beach with plenty of space. Highly recommend to make a stop here.
