The location is excellent, the rooms clean, bed and pillows soft and comfy and the patio and living room areas are welcoming so what’s not to like? Besides all that the daily, hot breakfasts are all homemade mainly by Lloyd and his biscuits are almost as good as my Mom’s were! The owners treated us like family, to some even better than family! It’s a lovely place and we hope to return!
The inn is in a perfect spot for walking to all the shops and a number of restaurants. The walking/hiking trails were a huge plus. The owners made it! We enjoyed visiting with them, and their breakfasts were always fresh and hot. Good eating and all the coffee you need. We slept great! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was ideal for our Christmas getaway.
Square Inn hosted the brunch for our wedding weekend in Wimberley. It was just perfect. Marcilia and Lloyd are the most personable hosts, the kind that will make event planning a breeze and will cater to your every need with grace and ease. The food was absolutely delicious and had that home-made quality that you don't get at typical breakfast buffets in hotels. The exact type of "Inn/B&B" experience that you'd wish for! Thank you Square Inn, we will be back!
It was a great weekend. Lloyd, Crystal and Lourdes took great care of us each day, cooked our delicious breakfast and visited with us like we were old friends. We will definitely be back. Thanks for such a great time!
Great bed and facilities. Standout service and customer service oriented people at every level. Hot cooked breakfast puts them above all others. Highly recommend to all as long as they don't hinder my ability to go back.
Our family stayed at the Inn this weekend for a wedding. We hosted a breakfast at the Inn one morning. The owners were so accommodating and gracious with any interaction. They made a great breakfast and everyone enjoyed sitting in the courtyard. We recommend this gem of a place. The location is great!
