Spurlock's Malt Shop - Hamburger restaurant in Anna - 504 N Powell Pkwy, USA

This was a fun spot for lunch today. It’s really cold so they weren’t terribly busy. Their dining area was fun and had cute 50’s era decor. I had the steak fingers meal and listened to Summer Nights from Grease. Food was good, and average pricing. I’d definitely go back. The burgers looked super tasty.

For the most part the food is good nothing to say is over the top. I the hamburger has no flavor/ on seasoning, onion rings are frozen, chili cheese dog ok, chili from a can. Didn’t have a malt. Figured I will give them a try in the future. I will say the triple cheeseburger is a great value.

Hidden among the side of the road, you'll find this charming and delightful small mom and pop restaurant. Prepare to meet some of the nicest staff around to help you navigate through their menu. The burgers are handcrafted bursting with flavor. The creamy milk shakes overflows with blended fresh fruits. In a rush, pull in and use their drive thru.

We went for the Frito pie with everything and it was FABULOUS!!! We also ordered chicken fried steak fingers - they came with big side of gravy ⭐️ We’ll be back for more delicious food!!!

Fantastic burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. We tried the pecan shake - which I never knew existed but I'm glad I know now. It was great! The shakes taste like they're made with real ice cream, not the soft serve stuff you get at fast food chains. The food is cooked when you order it so everything is fresh and hot. I'd highly recommend this place.

If you like classic drive-inn food, this is the place to go. You can can dine in or drive through. Younger friendly service, but you HAVE TO BE PATIENT with some slow service, sometimes, due to every once in a while being short staffed. Give them grace. Believe me, it's worth it.

Spurlock's is this old fashioned drive-in off Hwy 5 in Anna USA that always takes me back in time to the 1960s diners, before fast food franchises sprouted everywhere. Today, we stopped in for a late lunch of cheeseburgers, patty melts, fries, and Cokes. All of those were hot, fresh, and delicious. As always. But the real thing of it was the relaxing, good feeling of Americana country living where couples were eating in their car, chuckling over a shared joke. And, over there some construction guys were laughing as they chowed down, while at another table two friends of the older generation swapped news and opinions. Just comfortable, fun, friendly, and laid back. Add the good food to that and you've got Spurlock's Malt Shop in Anna USA.

In a world full of fast food chains, it's nice to see a small business thrive. Food was fresh and delicious, service was top notch, and the prices are unbelievably reasonable. If I'm ever passing through Anna again, that's where I want to eat!
