We visited the cafe because of the good reviews. We weren’t disappointed. Imagine being able to fly into the Jefferson County International Airport and share a meal at this quaint Cafe. We drove to the cafe but one can dream! We enjoyed watching the planes fly in and out of the airfield while we were there. There are model airplanes hanging from the ceiling with other memorabilia on the walls. A Christmas tree occupied one corner. The ambiance was nice cozy and comfortable. The children enjoyed looking at all of the memorabilia and the were given gliders to assemble which we brought outside to fly. They also offer for purchase, posters and the glass with their logo. The employees were so patient and kind. We were also given good selection tips. The children started out with a vanilla and a chocolate shake. They were enormous! Their eyes got so big when the waitress set them down on the table. Ecstatic was an understatement! They enthusiastically started to devour them and from the smiles on their faces, they were extremely delicious. My friend got the Runway Reuben. She said it was the best Reuben that she has ever eaten. The Monte Cristo was also very good! I had the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and delicious and the fries were good too. I wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw that came with the fish and chips. We finished off the meal with a slice of Apple Pie and Ice Cream and a slice of a berry pie with ice cream. Both were wonderful! Picky eater ratings: Off of the children’s menu, grilled cheese and chicken tenders! Both scored high marks along with those milkshakes. The cafe was neat and clean. There is the option to dine outside and during cold months the outside area is covered. There is a nice playground on the side of the cafe that was enjoyed by the children. There was a sign on the drive to the cafe that said the restaurant was for sale. Someone snatch up this little gem and don’t let it close! Happy Flying and Eating!

A local favorite and rightly so. Great food selection for all 3 daily meals. The French toast, omelets, and pancakes we ordered were excellent. Fun to watch the private aircraft takeoff and land. Great prices.

This all-American, airport-themed diner stands out as one of the best dining options in the area. The staff is exceptional, exuding warmth and care in their service. The cuisine consistently impresses with its delicious flavors, and the prices are reasonable. A must-visit for a satisfying meal experience.

A funky diner-style cafe literally on the airstrip at the "Jefferson County International Airport" ... It's full of aviation memorabilia and little twists on family diner fair (a sourdough turkey sandwich with bacon, jalapenos... and raspberry jam.) We were there about 1 PM on a Wednesday and the place was full, including several pilots who'd parked their planes next to the restaurant. As the motto on the waitress's shirt said, "Will Fly for Pie" -- and the pie was pretty darn good. The waitress herself was extremely personable and provided outstanding service. If you're in the mood for something a little off-beat, this will hit the spot. Worth a stop!

Awesome place. Flew in and there was plenty of parking. Some spots had tie-downs and others didn't. Menu has great options and prices! Was fortunate enough to snag 1 of only 3 slices of pie left on a sunny, Sunday afternoon. Definitely coming back for breakfast or lunch!

This is my go to place for when I take friends for an airplane ride from Pierce County. Nice airport to fly into, plenty of parking and great food and service at Spruce Goose Cafe! I've not had a bad meal here. The shakes and pies are amazing too! Friendly service tops it all off.👍👍

Very nice staff even though we were coming in 20 minutes before they closed. They were very friendly and inviting and had no attitude about us showing up late. Even 3 other people came in AFTER us and they were treated with the same kindness and happiness. They were attempting to clean the kitchen and move on with their closing duties but were more than happy to have customers to serve! Thank you for being that way!

The food here was speedy and tasty, and service was incredible. I obviously loved the aviation atmosphere. The pie was excellent too, and I will be going back for more ASAP!
