We stayed as a family of four with a dog over the holiday weekend. The room was a perfect setup for our older kids. It was clean, always smelled great, beds were comfortable, bathrooms are modern, it was quiet, close to downtown and the freeway (yet still, quiet!), and breakfasts were decent. Everyone was friendly and kind, especially to the kids and our dog. They made what could have been a difficult situation okay for us. This is where their customer service shined even more. We look forward to when we can stay again.
Made a pit stop here near Tahoe before going home on a road trip. Total price for the night was about $229, including $10 parking fee. Room/carpet smelled a bit of musty(just does not smell fresh, may be carpet need steamed clean?). Anyway other than this, this modern newish hotel is fine for 1 night. Staff was friendly and inviting. Breakfast need some work(coffee weak), we went at 15 min before breakfast ended and 3 hot pots were missing hot items(may be sausage, pancake, bacon or eggs, don't really know for sure). If you go here, be careful with the parking curb near front of hotel, its high and if you have a low car/sedan, the bottom of the car will hit it, as evident by the crumbled concrete at the parking lot. One more thing, bed was comfy as well, did not seem worn out.
Service was crappy never going again paying for parking . Room was so dusty and the couch is horrific .. you would think the service would be great of the cleanliness is so so! I spoke with someone who claims to be manager they were a manager. So unprofessional .. my family and i stayed for. Wedding and goodbye to this place never again
Terrible experience. They do false advertising! The pictures on their website show the room that I was booking had a tub. However, it did not. We talked to the front desk about this but they were of no help. They didn't even bother to assign us a different room that matched what we were advertised.
There is a $10 parking fee which is just ridiculous.
The bathroom light lights up the entire room. It's difficult to use the shower or restroom without awakening everyone. Bad design!
The outdoor hot tub doesn't open until 9am so no cold early morning hot tubs.
Just a terrible experience. Spend the extra money and book somewhere else.
I do not appreciate being charged $10 per day for parking. No consideration is given to Platinum Elite or Gold members.
There are so many comments here about the parking charge and I simply don’t understand why they don’t roll up this fee in the per night room rate.
I spoke with the front desk manager about the parking. She mentioned that in downtown Truckee there is a fee to park the car. Using this logic, the hotel is justifying asking for parking $.
Furthermore, the hotels spends a lot of money for snow removal in the parking lot, which they need to pass on to the guests.
Finally, they have a new room rate that includes the parking fee if you book directly with Marriott.
The hotel may or may not refund the parking fee. Just ask.
The housekeeping staff knocked 4 times to access our room in the morning. She then saw us leave the room because we smiled at each other. Then we got back in the evening, the bed was not made/ room was not refreshed.
We will not being staying here in the future and don’t recommend this property.
Everything was nice and the ladies working the front desk are amazing….However the $10 parking is kinda lame…what’s up with the nickel and dimeing huh? And they aren’t very flexible for bonvoy members $300 for a Sunday night with 70% occupancy? What a rip. Plenty of other places to stay in the area
Clean and great room layout for 3 beds (we used the daybed option). Oddly the ceiling fan in the bathroom runs 24/7 which is a little loud (we tried all switches and just lived with it). Complimentary breakfast was good and allowed us to hit the road quickly.
I love this property! It’s so clean and the rooms are spacious. I don’t mind the $10 per day for parking. It’s a new style! Hotels charge for parking now. I will be coming back here for sure!
Stayed overnight due to heavy snow, so happy with being marooned. The room is very comfortable, contemporary and tech ready...the staff helpful and able to make decisions to improve our stay.
But the biggest delight and surprise is Stella's, the o
We are Owners at Hyatt, and This resort is one of my favorite of the Hyatt selection. The Village is upscale and family friendly. Plenty of dining and shopping as well as fun like ice skating, skiing etc. It's also close to north lake tahoe, so you
Really cute little tea shop in Truckee. They have herbal teas of all sorts. The owner Sally greeted us with a smile. She is fantastic. She has a lovely group of young ladies, working behind the counter who provided us with world-class service. I had
Skydive Truckee is top notch! It would be impossible to get this experience with any other team. From start to finished they made us feel like family. We had a group of 9 guys jumping. Weather conditions held out perfectly and we were all able to hav
We were in Truckee for a day and my wife came across this place. Breweries are usually a good family friendly stop for us and this was no exception. The people here were fantastic, the locals and the staff. The back room had been converted into a pla
