SpringHill Suites exceeded my expectations with its spacious, modern rooms and exceptional service. The staff was friendly and attentive, making check-in and my entire stay smooth and enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of options, perfect for starting the day. The hotel's clean and inviting atmosphere, along with its convenient location, made it the ideal place for a comfortable and stress-free stay. Highly recommended!

I was in town for a business trip. I chose to stay somewhere a bit far out from the downtown area, gave this a try. I enjoyed it a lot. It was easy to find, plenty of parking, plenty of places walking distance to go eat. The staff was extremely nice to me. Rooms were very standard, in a good way. I had no issue at all. Plus, I had the view of the racetrack from my window. Grabbed some coffee and watched from there. I recommend this stay.

Passing through for a night with slide and 3 young kids, although the hotel looks decent from the exterior, the rooms need to be addressed. When showering the vent fans with did not work so it makes the entire room heavily humidified. The bathroom door would not open completely or shut. As strong as I am the door was litteraly on the floor off track and we could not push it. The shower was dirty, carpet frayed, rust ect ect. Management needs to check each room thoroughly and be more aware of these issues.

Positive: The staff were all very nice. Negative: The room was dirty. There were water stains in the tub surround. The vent in the bathroom didn?t work. The AC in the room did not work. Not worth the money for the room AT ALL. Will not be staying again. Will not recommend.

Staff were all very friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast was hot, fresh and offered a wide variety of choices. Our room was perfect for our needs. We had a disabled son with us and the room has plenty of space for his wheelchair and our four suitcases. The room was very clean upon arrival and I did a bed bug check, of which I saw no signs anywhere of bugs. Our 2nd day there we did have to ask twice for towels from the front desk, the cleaning staff told us they would be right back with our towels and never returned, which prompted the two phone calls to the front desk. We were disappointed that the laundry facilities were not in working order. We noticed a lot of trucks in the parking lot and were told that 3 separate companies were staying there at the time. Location was perfect for our needs. Very close to restaurants and our family that we were visiting. The only downside to our stay was the parking. We have a disabled son and this location only offers 2 handicap parking spots. My husband dropped my son and I off at the front door and then parked the car. When he walked into the lobby I asked him if there was a parking spot (meaning a marked handicap spot). Then one of the people working the front desk said “there should be a spot available, I know I’m parked in one of them”. I’m not sure how long the shifts are but if one employee is working an 8 hour shift, that leaves only 1 handicap spot available for the entire hotel. Please address the parking at this location, there should be several handicap parking spots instead of only 2. The other issue I have was the handicap curb access. It was raining heavily during our stay and the curb access was not under the main entrance awning. As a matter of fact, one of the employees was coming out of her car for her work shift to start and she even mentioned that she wished we had better access without getting completely soaked. We were able to lift our sons chair so we didn’t get wet but this should not be an issue.

Came just passing thru. I was disappointed looked like a decent place but my room wasn’t the greatest nor clean. Also my room smelled funny and I ended up figuring why. The air conditioner was leaking bad made it smell musty. Went to close the curtains, and my sock was soaking wet discovered there was a really big leak in the air conditioner. I was tired. I just laid down. Let it be did let them know. Also, I did not want to shower. The restroom did not look appealing bad mold around the tub. Stayed in better Marriott for the area. I would have thought it would have been just a little better considering what’s around.

Was in town this past weekend and stayed here and can’t say enough about this place. The staff was incredibly friendly, engaging and genuinely seemed to care. Kim, who is the director of sales, went above and beyond and checked on me personally multiple times. I see her name in other reviews on here so that tells me all I need to know. Great room, great facility, great staff. Highly recommend.

The location next to Louisiana Downs is great, and the staff were very friendly. My main issue was how run down my room was. The shower had cracks in the corner drywall, and a numer of other cringy 😬 little details that became evident after looking too hard.
