SpringHill Suites Scranton Montage Mountain - Hotel in Moosic - 19 Radcliffe Dr, USA

Room wasn't very clean it definitely needs a remodel. The carpets were stained along with the couch, the fold out couch mattress was completely yellow and stained. Shower water pressure was great. The kids loved the breakfast which is always a positive. The staff was super accommodating during a power outage. Our time would have been better if we had power at night we had to leave in the middle of the night and packing with no power was not ideal. If you need to stay in this area I would recommend a different hotel due to cleanliness. The pool and spa were also great, just the outdated unclean rooms were the disappointing factor here along with the power outage. Power outage was night 2, night 1 we were able to use the pool area.

Perfect stay all around, so good that we will be planning our trip based on coming back here. Staff is accommodating and friendly. We’ve reviewed many hotels over the years, this place really sets hospitality apart!

We are always delighted to stay at Spring Hill Suites. This one is a bit dated. Breakfast was a disaster. Half the toaster was unusable because it “catches fire” , neither waffle maker worked correctly. It was a beautiful morning so we thought we would sit out by the fire but none of the furniture cushions was on the furniture and someone was out in the area smoking a cigarette so that was a no go as well.

My wife and I checked into Springhill Suites folio # 51025 on 6/14/2024 and checked out this morning after attending a wedding last night.. We had stayed here last year and were satisfied with the facility and personnel.||Having said that the following events occurred from time of check in on Friday.|Clerk asked my wife if we wanted daily room maintenance. She said yes. As we went to our room we noticed the lobby/buffet area was very dirty. Especially the floors. I mentioned this to a worker. Next morning it was the same and did not appear it was vacuumed. I mentioned this again to the same person as the previous day.||When we went to our room for the first time the sliding door to the bathroom cleaned did not have a handle making it difficult to open and close. The sink did not drain as it took excessive time to clear of water. I mentioned this to the front desk clerk, who said she would send a person to look at it. When we returned that night at 9 p.m. nothing had been done. That 1st night people were around the fire pit until after 1a.m. And talking very loudly. Our room unfortunately was just above the pit. I noticed the next morning the sign on the door in the buffet area that 10 p.m. Is the shut off time for the fire pit. Apparently no one there to enforce the rules.||The next day we went to the wedding at 2 p.m. and returned at 10 p.m. Room had not been cleaned and no clean towels replaced used ones. I called down to the desk clerk and was told rooms are maintained every 3 days unless requested to have done daily. At check-in my wife was asked if we wanted daily cleaning and she said yes. ||When we checked out this morning the desk clerk asked if our stay was good. I told her no it was not and mentioned all of the above, She said general manager was on maternity leave and there was not a replacement on staff and things were in disarray. ||I do not feel we received the proper service and attention we paid for.

Made a 2-night reservation for 2 rooms. Called to ask if they could change rm type of one from king to double/double because marriott.com does not allow to select different room types for multiple rooms when booking together. Also asked if they could put in a request to adjoin. Had to repeat the confirmation #s, name & phone numerous x to Tasheka. She said she didn't have computer access and would call me back. A week later I called back and the phone rings forever but no one answers. Cancelled my rooms and booked at a different hotel. If this is the experience before I arrive, can only imagine what will happen when onsite.

The only positives here are the friendly, helpful staff and the convenient location. This is a very tired hotel. Hotel room keys/cards were constantly failing; ours keys had to be were reactivated 6 times over 4 days. Breakfast is skimpy and pathetic. Outdoor space is missing all cushions and there are no plans to replace them. 1 of the 2 elevators was down during our entire stay. Either this hotel is struggling financially, or they are just not putting any $$ into what one might consider some necessities. Shame on you Marriott.

most useless and idiotic hotel ever. wifi is constantly down, room is clean but cramped - like sleeping in vestibule, tv is somewhere you can’t see it from the bed, not a single hanger for wet towels and stupid ac won’t turn off with any of settings. avoid if you plan to stay longer then late overnight.

Visiting family we needed a quick stay for the night as our drive home is long. The women at the desk who was new was alone and extremely helpful. She had knowledge of the whole hotel helping everyone at once. Our room was very clean and cozy. Its a beautiful place to stay. The fire place was so beautiful and a nice place to relax on a chilly night! Breakfast was nice and fresh. Overall the place was so good we booked another night. We found our nee place to stay when visiting family!
