SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown/Historic District - Hotel in Savannah - 150 Montgomery St, USA

We enjoyed our stay here. Every interaction we had with staff or valet, they were kind, helpful, and efficient. There were a couple of hiccups, but they were fixed immediately. For example, when we got to our room, there was no shower curtain. The beds were amazing, our favorite part about the hotel. The location is an easy walk to the historic district but not so close to be bothered by the noise of the nightlife. I would absolutely recommend that people stay here.

Great location to walk to all sites from Forsyth Park to River Street. Breakfast had enough variety to get your day started. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Hotel furniture could use a cleaning, but the room was large, and the bed, linens, bathroom, and towels were clean. The pool area looked nice and was used by other guests frequently. My husband and I would stay here again. The price was fair and there is an overnight parking garage close that is a third of the cost of the hotel parking fee.

The staff was great as was the location. We were able to park and walk everywhere through the historic district and Riverwalk area. We did not like the sliding doors on the bathroom and toilet rooms - both had glass on the doors. Whenever someone used the toilet or took a shower the light through the glass doors would light up the entire bedroom. There was also a closet between the two rooms which was odd and inconvenient. First night there we noticed the tub wasn’t draining properly but maintenance came and fixed it quickly.

As several mentioned, the property is a bit tired, definitely in need of a refresh. The rooms do have a nice amount of space, a pull out couch and having the toilet separate from the shower/an extra sink is nice for larger groups. It's overall convenient and the breakfast quality was decent, what was to be expected for this property type. I wanted to give a shout out to my girl Tina, at the front desk, she was excellent! Incredibly friendly, accommodating and also able to juggle it all! She should be the model for customer service.

The staff greeted us with big smiles an d made us feel comfortable offering to help us find things we might be looking to do or places to eat. Eric Brown checked us in and asked all the right questions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the historic district. Only down side was it did cost to park (valet only).

Not up to Marriott standards. Hotel and rooms need to be renovated. Wallpaper peeling off, carpet stained & sour smell in hallways. Elevator was not up to date with inspections. ||It’s convenient and in a great location. We have stayed here several times over the years, but will choose other locations until this one has been renovated.

Smelled of weed as soon as I walked in the building. Good location but very dated room and very odd layout with the toilet separate from shower. Some suspicious stains on the brown couch and just overall a bit dirty. Pool was closed so that was very disappointing and would not have stayed there had I known. Staff were very friendly though and helpful and beds were comfortable.

The rooms where quite bad, our door was quite visibly repaired at the lock and didn't have a safe... the bathroom and toilets didn't have locks in a 4 person room. one of the toiletpaper holders fell from the wall and the shower head was moldy. Besides that the room was clean and the beds where comfortable. Pool was clean and good staff was friendly except for a lady at the breakfast buffet who shouted about someone leaving a cup of yoghurt somewhere. The breakfast buffet felt quite cheap in general and the floor was incredibly sticky.
