SpringHill Suites Savannah Airport - Hotel in Savannah - One Jay R Turner Dr, USA

Very nice hotel very clean when you walk in you smell the bleach but it wasn’t overpowering. Bed was very comfortable my only issue is my air conditioning wasn’t working like it should it was on but wasn’t cooling off the room, other then that I would stay here again. Very convenient to everything the outlet is less than 10 minutes away and the beach was like 50min while your visiting make sure you go to river st

The first room that I checked into had a musty smell, and I immediately noticed the receptionist. She seemed upset that I brought the issue up. There was also another lady standing beside her who claimed to have cleaned the room, attempting to invalidate what I had experienced. The second room that I was given had no smell, but the pull-out couch mattress had a urine smell. We notified the staff. They told us they could not replace the mattress until the morning. The shower and the toilet in the second room was not cleaned properly and had visible dirt spots. Also, during my stay at the hotel, the elevator went out of service, and I had to use the stairs to bring in groceries and luggage. We were also not able to enjoy breakfast, which was included in our stay, because the kitchen space was very small, and there was only one waffle maker. This made the kitchen area congestion, and the line for the waffle maker was long. Also, when I went to make my waffle, the waffle mix ran out. I kindly asked the kitchen staff member if she was able to refill it, and she rudely answered that’s all we had.

Rooms were very clean and well kept. Everyone was very friendly. Had a great night sleep and ready for the road with a good breakfast. Nice choices to eat. The location is good for being right by the outlets and off 95. Good stopping point on our way home from Florida.

Our stay at Springhill Suites in Savannah was wonderful. The room was clean and nicely set up. The amenities were all in order but the customer service is what stood out. From the check in to check out we were taken care of. Demetrius went above and beyond the call of duty by finding a luggage cart then helping me with the overloaded cart ( my doing ) and packing my car. This kind of service is hard to come by and is more than appreciated. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Thank you.

Beware! If you have anything of value don’t leave it in your room or behind. I was traveling with three kids and we stopped at SpringHill suites while on a road trip to Florida. In the hustle of checking out I forgot to put my jewelry on and unfortunately left it behind. I contacted the manger the next day and explained that I left two very sentimental items behind. A watch which was given to me by my mom and my wedding band. I was extremely upset but the manager did not seem to have any sense of urgency considering after a half an hour I had to call him back. Then after reassuring me he would look into it another hour passed by with no word. I had to call again with him simply replying that no one found them. I was extremely specific as to where I left it and it could not have been overlooked. There was no apology and I then had to contact the police myself with no results. (The Sargent at the police department was very kind and I appreciate his diligence.) I’m not one to leave negative reviews but if someone reached out to me and was missing something as important as a wedding band I would jump through multiple hoops to help and assist that individual. I am extremely disappointed in the manager and staff at this property. Do not expect any empathy to come from them and definitely don’t trust them.

House keeping needs to be retrained immediately. I found a glass of orange juice on the windows edge, crums of what could have been from a granola bar on multiple places on the carpeting and just all around dirty. I certainly will not be going back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Clean, well-equipped rooms. Good breakfast selections. Beautifully landscaped. Friendly, accommodating staff.

Perfect location! So many of restaurants around and things to do. Our family slept well in their comfortable beds and enjoyed the free breakfast.
