The carpet in the (all) common areas needs to be replaced. It’s worn and stained and past it’s expiration date. Not bad location. Breakfast is normal fare for hotel like this. Staff was good. Rooms clean and good size. Didn’t feel price was consistent with location or condition of property. Higher than expected.

Staff were super nice and helpful. Had pack and play for our toddler delivered to our room prior to arrival. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered lot of options. Only negative I could say is our room's thermostat must've been on a timer, because AC kept turning off even though set temperature wasn't reached. Had a great stay!

Meh. I primarily stay at Marriott locations when I travel since they are usually pretty good. This place was more of a miss than a hit. My biggest issue is the room. The mattress was HORRIBLE. My co-worker said the same thing w his room. They must have went and found the cheapest spring mattresses available - hard, ultra flat w no give - guaranteed to give you back pains. Horrible nights sleep! Second, the bathroom layout is ATROCIOUS. The toilet is right in front of the tub - literally blocking half the tub. If you need to use the hand rail to get in / out of the shower, forget about it - you'll have to REACH OVER THE TOILET - talk about a lawsuit waiting to happen. Worst part, is the room rate was 200 bucks a night!! DEFINITELY NOT A 200 BUCKS A NIGHT ROOM.

Dear Molly Beighley (GM) & Arne Sorenson (President & CEO), Its imperative that I bring this to your attention. I arrived today at your location, 3015 Pittsburgh Mills Blvd, with my wife and children, one of which is 4 years old, to find your employees outside cussing up a storm loud enough that my children could hear and gossiping. My wife and I were greeted warmly by the woman at the front desk and checked in promptly. Upon being assigned room 108, we gathered our belongings and made our way to our room. After unloading, we went to take a seat in the bed, only to discover that a red and black spider had not only made a web in the physical bed connecting the pillow and the comforter but also the actual spider was also in the bed. We immediately called down to the front office, and the friendly woman once again greeted us as she apologized and said let me see if I can transfer rooms and ended the call. My wife and children gathered our belongings and made our way to the front desk only to find your employees who were cussing in front of my kids, stating sly and snarky remarks. “I mean, you should just tell them we can kill it, but there’s nothing we can do.” “It’s not really our problem. Just tell them we are full, and it is what it is.” At this time, the friendly front desk employee looked at both ladies and said ladies, this is them they all immediately stopped talking and went to the back for a few moments and came back, stating it’ll be no issues getting your room swapped. Is this the type of service that you, as the GM of Springhill Suits, promote? If so, I can assure you that this will be our last time staying here, and we will ensure to let our baseball team and other sports members know. I look forward to your prompt response to our concerns with this matter.

Me and my family stayed at this site May 9th to May 14th. During our stay a large group for a baseball tournament came in. The service at the hotel quickly went to zero. My family had to take out our own trash daily, get our own towels, I had to buy cleaning supplies due to housekeeping not coming. The one time they came she didn't come in with us in the room which was very suspicious. Not to mention we had literally a mountain of towels next to the couch in the room due to housekeeping not servicing us. Housekeeping was also noting that they came to our room and never did. I went to front desk and spoke to the staff and a manager was supposed to call me back regarding these issues and I never heard from them. I gave them a month to get back with me to resolve these concerns. Still nothing. I dont recommend especially if you need housekeeping.

Let me start by saying I am a Lifetime Gold Elite Marriot Bonvoy member, and have been in Lifetime Elite status for over ten years. For the first five years I was Platinum Elite but my current position has me traveling less. However, I always stay with Marriott and I know these hotels and their standards very well. I have stayed at all Marriott brands, from TownePlace Suites up to Autograph hotels and Edition hotels. I know they are not all alike, but it gives me peace of mind knowing that the standards are consistent across all brands. This, however, was a rough hotel stay for me. The building and location are fine. Very nice for a SpringHill Suites especially. The lobby is pretty and clean, the corridors are nice and open, etc. Additionally, the staff I encountered were exceptionally courteous, with high energy and big smiles every time we interacted. Rita checked me in, and she clearly takes pride in her work and is focused on ensuring her interactions with you leave you feeling cared for and respected. Well done. My largest concerns here are with the cleanliness and furnishings in the room itself. While my room was very large and spacious, it was not truly clean. Immediately upon entering the room I noticed a musty odor. I spent the whole week with the window kept open and that minimized it. This alone would have been unpleasant but tolerable, but there is more. There was a thick, dark hair on the shelf in the shower. My coworker told me she found a dirty washcloth in her shower. The shower tub itself had rust (I hope) stains and the drain plug had been removed and placed in the corner of the tub. The first towel I used had stains on it. There are multiple stains on the carpet throughout the room as well. The AC unit had a very long hair stuck on the vent itself, so it would flap around when the air was blowing. There were also dead insects on top of the AC unit, and some sort of pill, like someone's medication, was sitting on the floor in front of the unit. At one point I put my hand on the side of the end table near the bed to move it aside and get my phone charger, and it was sticky. I ultimately went and bought Clorox Wipes and Lysol (I have never done this before) and when I went to wipe the side of the nightstand I noticed it had lots of streaks running down the side from liquid dripping. I ran the Clorox Wipe along the side of the nightstand near the top and the wipe was brown when I looked at it. There was also a Cheerio cereal piece, and some piece of plastic on the floor near the nightstand. I was in a room with two queen beds. Each bed had only three pillows. All six pillows were synthetic fiber filled, and all three of them were *extremely* lumpy and misshapen, like the old pillows in your parents' basement. I honestly slept poorly the entire week. Additionally, all of the electronics setup, from the available outlets to the clock to the TV, are incredibly old. No USB ports anywhere. The CC on the TV didn't work, and it was just an old school TV with a paper list of channels near it. No streaming options, no Marriott Welcome screen, etc. In the ten years I have been traveling for my work, I have only once had an experience similar to this one, and that was 8 years ago. This hotel is in desperate need of having their rooms remodeled and retrofitted, and the standards of the housekeeping staff are obviously very poor. The word I kept using when talking to my coworkers was "gross". Checking the reviews here on Google over the last 2 years, it is clear this is a theme that the hotel has no plans to correct. I will unfortunately never be staying in this hotel again.

We had business conference in that place last week had horrible experience and hope nobody have. I agree with everyone reviews this place need remodeling and at the same time need high sanitation. I had 2 nights stay there both night rest room stinks so bad most of the day I spend at meeting only time I come back was night and I noticed urine smell was coming out of toilet I even mention to the front desk girl did not get any satisfactory solution I expect they would offer different room discount or any thing but nope I will not recommend anyone to stay and waste their money there.

Very clean and well kept. We checked in for a wedding, but we had missed the block discount. Unprompted the front desk woman adjusted our price to give us the group discount. She was so kind and friendly and said “use that money for Christmas”
