SpringHill Suites Oakland Airport - Hotel in Oakland - 195 Hegenberger Rd, USA

I was hoping to get a link to review this property through Marriott after staying but that didn't happen so I'm posting it here. ||This hotel can accommodate up to 5 people which is exactly what I needed when I booked. It's rare to find a room with 2 king beds and a sleeper sofa but that's what they had, for which I'm super happy. There was plenty of room for all of us, without feeling cramped at all.||The property looks very well kept and I didn't feel like I needed to worry for my car in the parking lot. The room was super clean and even smelled amazing the entire time. How can you not enjoy a room that smells like chocolate!?||Having stayed at a different Springhill Suites recently, I found that breakfast was a nice surprise. They have some really great options and both mornings we were there, the staff was incredibly helpful.||The room setup is extremely functional. I appreciated that the TV was mounted on an inner wall (behind which was the closet) so that we didn't worry that we'd be too loud for the neighboring rooms. I also noticed that except for an occasional door close, we didn't even know if we had neighbors.||My sisters and I were there with my 80+ year old mom. I was super happy to be on a ground room floor, close to an exit with our cars right outside. It really helped my mom be comfortable with the stay. Shoutout to Alexis at the front desk who really helped me anytime I needed anything.||Bottom line, this seems to be a well run hotel and we'd definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! My family and I stayed here over night for an A’s game on Saturday and to go to the Oakland Zoo on Sunday. The room was spacious and up to date! The pool was nice and our 3 year old loved it. Breakfast in the morning was great! Customer service was awesome. 10/10 would recommend

Wow. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I’ve heard so much negative things about Oakland, I was so skeptical about coming to this city, in general. Luckily, I came across this hotel. The reviews were good, probably the best I saw for the area. We felt safe staying here, which is a huge deal. This hotel is so close to the airport, which was great. The room we booked was 2 KING beds, plus a trundle couch. – There was a walk-in closet, desk, mini fridge, microwave and large bathroom. Very spacious rooms. The entire hotel was so clean. Great job to all your housekeeping/housemen! Breakfast was good. Coffee was delicious and strong. The front desk team was great to work with. We had an issue with the dryer not working correctly (had to pay for 3 cycles and still wouldn’t dry). The FD and HSK team were gracious enough to dry our clothes for us since the maintenance man wasn’t getting in until later. Such a huge help!! I know that’s probably not standard to do, but the team went above and beyond to help us and we appreciate it. But the shining stars of the hotel, in my option were the restaurant and bar team. Linda at the bar was AMAZING. She was so friendly, accommodating and gracious. We were part of a group that was staying at another hotel nearby. We had been raving about how good the food was at the London restaurant and so the entire baseball team + families showed up on a Saturday night to have dinner. Linda and her kitchen team, plus the front desk and van driver kicked BUTT. They did their best to accommodate everyone, didn’t panic, helped everyone (including all other hotel guests) and were simply incredible. The food was so good, and everyone was so happy and thankful. I cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you for such a great experience. Linda, you were incredible! We ate at the restaurant Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun. Everything on the menu was so good! We definitely would recommend the flatbread pizza, tacos, chicken quesadilla or the Chicken Alfredo. If in the area again, we would absolutely stay here again!

Very conveniently located right next to the San Francisco bay Oakland airport, across the bay from San Francisco, with hwy access to downtown Oakland and San Jose Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Lots of parking available (at a cost per night) Rooms are spacious and very nice. A basic breakfast is available as well every morning, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, toast etc. Nothing to lavish, but does the trick if you are looking for a hotel with breakfast in the morning.

Honestly, I’ve been in some not so great hotels near airports so I did not have high hopes, but wanted to be close for an early morning flight. To my delight this SpringHill is the best I’ve been in. It feels new and is clean and the room is spacious. The area is quiet, and the hotel offers a shuttle not only to and from the airport, but also from the rental car center. We called and the driver picked us up within 10 minutes as promised. There is a full restaurant and bar, to boot.

We had a great time here. The room was super clean and the staff was wonderful. Only downside is the area, if you are from out of town or local, do not stop to get gas at the Shell or 76 down the street. It's known for robbings. Check Google reviews of the gas station and you will see what I'm talking about. The hotel however was Great!

I have allergies and always have to reach out ahead because these days it seems like every hotel allows dogs. When I checked in the amazing staff actually had my room ready in a section away from the animals. Every employee was accommodating and friendly, room was immaculate, and free breakfast was nice.

Very nice hotel close to the airport. Rooms are modern with comfortable bed, nice work space, plenty of charging outlets and nice bathroom. Restaurant and bar is great and all of the staff are terrific. Karen and Don at the front desk were very friendly, courteous and efficient and Raj at the bar was great as well. Highly recommend
